Marduk - Wormwood released in October 2009 on Regain Records. Marduk is back again with their 11th studio album, Wormwood. We can expect the old blasting Marduk mixed with the new style brought in their last album, ROM 5:12. We have a great variation of sounds but still staying true to that Marduk black metal sound. The vocals are top notch. Mortuus is very theatrical sounding with his different vocal styles. Guitars are furious, with really catchy, almost melodic at time riffs. Drums are to the extreme as expected. Wormwood as excellent production which makes me happy! Fans of old Marduk and newer sounding Marduk will dig this.
