"Yojimbo" English Subtitled Trailer
"Yojimbo" is a 1961 jidaigeki (period drama) film directed by Akira Kurosawa. It tells the story of a ronin (masterless samurai), portrayed by Toshirō Mifune, who arrives in a small town where competing crime lords make their money from gambling. The ronin convinces each crime lord to hire him as protection from the other. By careful political maneuvering and the use of his sword, he brings peace, but only by encouraging both sides to wipe each other out in bloody battles. The title of the film translates as "bodyguard". The ronin calls himself Kuwabatake Sanjuro (meaning "Mulberry Field thirty-year-old"), which he seems to make up while looking at a mulberry field by the town. Thus, "Sanjuro" can be viewed as an early example of the "Man with No Name" concept (which previously appears in a number of novels, including Dashiell Hammett's Red Harvest and other works), made famous in the Clint EastwoodSergio Leone collaborations, commonly known as the Dollars Trilogy, the first film of which follows a similar plot to that of Yojimbo.

One of Kurosawa's very best and most highly praised works, Yojimbo tells the tale of a ronin samurai that wanders aimlessly through the country, who only (seemingly) cares about himself, and ends up [violently] settling a dispute between two warring gangs in a small deserted town. Masaru Sato compliments the film's violance and dark humor with a bouncy, sarcastic, almost over the top theme for the ronin. Here's a longplay of another one of my favs.. Samurai Warrior: The Battles of Usagi Yojimbo. You might recognize the main character from Turtles.. he had his own comic book but sometimes visited the Turtles universe as well. I really like this game, it has a ton of neat touches like having to bow to people of higher class and neat stuff like that. It's a little on the short side but very fun while it lasts. I screwed up in the final fight but I had quite a bit of health so I made it through :) This is part 1/2 due to Youtubes 10 minute limit.

With a price on his head, Ichi seeks tranquillity in a favorite village. Final Fantasy X: Dark Yojimbo Farming, Perfect Strategy
This video shows the fastest and easiest way to defeat Dark Yojimbo, with guarenteed success. It's good to know if you plan on farming Dark Yojimbo for equipment and Dark Matter. As long as you skip the third battle and run straight through the cave, you can reset Dark Yojimbo by leaving and entering the cave. In this way, Dark Yojimbo can be fought an arbitrary number of times. The armors used were: Break HP Limit Ribbon Auto-Haste Auto-Regen There is about a 10% chance that someone will die in the first battle due to Kozuka. But no need to worry, it does not impact the chance of victory. I made sure to demonstrate this case in the video.

Final Fantasy X: Controlling Yojimbo Directly
Yojimbo is a summon who usually asks for money before he does anything. And even then, you still don't get to choose what he does. This is a shame because Yojimbo has the strongest attack in the game. I made some cheat codes that let you directly choose Yojimbo's attacks just like any other aeon. I also made codes that make Zanmato always Overkill the enemy. I used my save editor, FFXED, to max Yojimbo's stats and give him some extra Auto-Abilities on his equipment.
