EDIT: Now featured on ars technica: arstechnica.com GoNintendo as well: www.gonintendo.com A short play-through of Timecop for the Super Nintendo, in ZSNES v1.51 (0:00) and bsnes v068 (2:51). The music plays twice as fast in ZSNES, likely due to accuracy issues. Snes9x v1.51 (not presented in video) plays Timecop's music at regular speed. Another note of interest is the warping and twisting of the time pod. In ZSNES, it is simply skewed left and right, while Snes9x and bsnes skew it vertically as well, giving it a better warping and whirling effect, likely as intended.

I didn't think my previous description for this video was clear enough, so I'll update it: I did *not* sequence this song. AndyIsAwesome did, this video is a response to his. It's just that his version of the song was recorded using a camera in front of a TV screen, whereas mine uses the ZSNES recording feature. I made this video because I liked his song a lot, and wanted to make it higher quality for YouTube, so I watched his video, carefully copy and pasted each individual note on his screen, and this was the result. I had absolutely no idea that this would become my most popular video, even though the material in it isn't mine. So if you want to praise/become friends/subscribe to me because of this video... don't... give it to AndyIsAwesome instead. :P

I am using a custom kernel to recognize the 2gb of ram, called fmlinuz. This is on the stock xandros, advanced mode. you can DL and install zsnes by adding the repository deb ftp.us.debian.org stable main contrib non-free to /etc/apt/sources.list and then: sudo apt-get update to add the new packages, then apt-get install zsnes WARNING: this new repository is for debian, so remove the repository from sources.list before sudo ap-get upgrade to upgrade your installed packages! ps: the emu is installed on the built-in flash memory and the rom is sitting pretty on an 8gb class 6 transcend SDHC card. cheers!

So, I recently got ZSNES 1.5 to try Starfox 2, but then I realized I don't have the good SF2 rom nor is it patched. Poking around I saw in the documentation that there was a Dump Movie feature, and so I wanted to try it out with a random game. Enjoy watching me sucking 2 minutes into Gundam Wing: Endless Duel's trial mode. This movie feature will be pretty useful in the future.

Entschuldigt am Anfang fehlt das " Hallo" :] Kleine erklärung zur aufnahme von Zsnes mit Fraps unter Windows 7 oder Vista . Nur unter Windows 7 / Vista werden bei Fraps 2 Audiospuren unterstützt. Bei anderen System müsst ihr den "Stereomix" Aktiv schalten wie dies geht findet ihr in einem anderen Video. Dies ist nur meine weise, macht wie ihr es für richtig haltet es soll nur helfen ;) Sollte euer Fraps nur 30sec Aufnehmen habt ihr nur die DEMO. Kauft es euch unter www.fraps.com Sollte es beim Aufnehmen laggen ist euer Pc vieleicht nicht leistungsfähig genug. Sollte es garnicht aufnehmen oder zu anderen problemen kommen fragt mal Google. ROMHack by Crushawake (aka luigiownsmario) This one was next-shortest, so I did this one next. Since ZSNES was being a b--- (as usual) with recording, it took longer than I had expected. The TAS could have been cleaner, but I was way too pissed off at ZSNES de-synching to care. The ROMHack itself is pretty fun, and just about as hard as Kaizo. Next TAS likely to be Pikafan94's "Super Random World". It's 4 worlds long, so get ready. It's not that hard though, so it should be coming soon.
