A multi-part adventure and gear review with some surprises to go along... Journey high above the live-fire training area at Fort Irwin with me, the Sabot Fighter. Thanks for liking and subscribing: www.youtube.com "January, 2010. Canadians were training at NTC for two months straight. No one was using my lane so I was posted at Zulu Tac the entire time. Finally, I had a day off..." A multi-part adventure and gear review with some surprises to go along... Y'all can blame Nutn Fancy for this one. I'd lost my mojo after my last trip to Iraq. My marriage was on the rocks. His videos kinda rejuvenated my spirit, inspired me, made me want to go outside again. Thanks Nutn... Some confusion on my part. I was interested in XGO Tech undergarments as I had the desert winter still to contend with. Somehow I thought Polartec and Polarmax were the same thing. They aren't, of course. Polartec makes the military ECWCS System for all the services, I believe. PolarMAX makes XGO Tech. Similar, but different. I thought the ECWCS Level I -- our "silk weight" thermals were by XGO, so I talk all about them through the video. It's really PolarTEC I'm lauding. Their Level I is awesome. It works to wick sweat to the surface in order for it to evaporate. So praise for Polartec! XGO rocks too. More on them later... We get to hiking in later parts of the series. There's also praise for the USMC ILBE Assault Pack, aka, Arc'teryx's "Charlie Pack". Camera: Canon Vixia HV40 Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro ...
