I built another guitar pickup. For now the last one in this low impedance series. Again it has about 3800 turns of 0.1 mm wire, a resistance of about 1 kOhm and an inductance of about 1 H. The coil is significantly flatter and broader (height is 6 mm) and it is loaded heavily with 6 ceramic magnets. It's a little bit like a low impedance version of a P90 with a rail instead of pole pieces.

Aaronphone with piezo transducers. I put two of these very cheap things on the dome and one on the top of the guitar. They're connected in parallel. The amp is a Roland Cube-60, clean channel. The next step will be to see if the piezo's can be combined with the electromagnetic pickup. I made the plectrum I use out of coconut shell.

I created another electromagnetic pickup and installed it on my AaronPhone. It seems to work pretty well despite the fact that it has a relatively small amount of turns (3800) and real thick wire (0.10 mm/38 AWG). Sounds to me like a broad frequency spectrum.
