Upptaka gerð í Tónlistarskóla Húsavíkur árið 2004 en Aðalsteinn lauk námi þar árið 2004 og hélt tónleika þar sem ma þetta lag var á efnisskránni. Tónleikarnir voru í styrkleika lokaprófstónleika til einsöngvara. Aðalkennari Aðalsteins var Hólmfríður Benediktsdótttir sópran. Undirleikari Aladár Rácz píanósnillingur. Aðalsteinn naut einnig kennslu Judit György sópran. Aðalsteinn hefur og sótt Masterclass námskeið hjá Gunnari Guðbjörnssyni tenór, Keith Reed bassabaritón og Kristjönu Stefánsdóttur söngkonu og -kennara. Aðalsteinn er nú skipstjóri á Húsavík en á upptökur í handraðanum sem hann mun læða inn á Youtube eftir hendinni. Þess má einnig geta að Aðalsteinn er söngvari hljómsveitarinnar SOS frá Húsavík Ljóðið: Ó, leyf mér þig að leiða til landsins fjallaheiða með sælusumrin löng. Þar angar blómabreiða við blíðan fuglasöng. Þar aðeins yndi fann ég, þar aðeins við mig kann ég, þar batt mig tryggðaband, því þar er allt, sem ann ég; það er mitt draumaland.
