A Day in the Life is a song by the English rock band The Beatles written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, based on an original idea by Lennon. It is the final track on the group's 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Since its original album release, "A Day in the Life" has been released as a B-side, and also on various compilation albums. It has been covered by other artists including The Fall, Bobby Darin, Sting, Neil Young, Jeff Beck, The Bee Gees, Mae and since 2008, by Paul McCartney in his live performances. This is the little fan-made video my sisters and I shot shortly after we introduced our costumes to the world. It's sort of a tribute to one of our favorite series and people to watch on Youtube. No, we aren't associated with the Yogscast, and yes, we made the costumes ourselves. Again, a little project we did for fun, hope Simon and Lewis like it! The costumes were hand-painted with acrylic paint. We used rulers to mark out 2.25" squares on the cardboard and painted away. Xephos we were fortunate enough to find the colors for, most of my Honeydew costume required mixing of paint. I think I stayed pretty consistent with the shades. The Creeper wasn't finished, but we hope to get that done and add a few more of their Minecraft characters to our group next time we wear the costumes.
