The first show from 1979 is an intimate show at the WDR Studio in Cologne in front of an appreciative audience. The second show from 1980 is in the vast surroundings of the Grugahalle in Essen and reflects her commercial success in the intervening year and contains several tracks from the new album. Video Response to Druox is up, go check out the full song! and to answer a Frequently Asked Question: This song was written before Yorick was even released. So even though he was released during the process of making the video, there was no bassline in the song so having Yorick in the video would be kinda....odd. All the shots were constructed already without Yorick so adding Yorick would compromise timing and the structure of each shot. Unlike "Your Epic Dreamhack Comes True" (where timing the garen scene was just a miraculous coincidence) timing animation to music is REALLY HARD and has to be precise on every frame and second.

Best known for their 1985 hit "Everybody Dance," Ta Mara & the Seen were among the many acts that came out of Prince's Minneapolis funk/rock scene in the 1980s -- a scene that the Time, Morris Day, Sheila E., Jesse Johnson's Revue, Vanity 6, Apollonia 6 and Mazarati and the Family were also associated with. Lead singer Ta Mara was born in Kenitra, Morocco and lived there as a child before moving to Minneapolis with her family at the age of seven. Growing up in Minneapolis, the singer learned to play several instruments, including piano, guitar, and drums. After reaching adulthood, she started working with local acts such as the Doug Maynard Band and the TC Jammers. Ta Mara also had her own band, which was eventually named the Seen and included bassist Keith Woodson, guitarist Oliver Leiber, keyboardist Gina Fellicetta, and drummer Jamie Chez. In the early '80s, Ta Mara caught the attention of Time guitarist Jesse Johnson, who helped Ta Mara & the Seen get a deal with A&M and produced their self-titled debut album in 1985. The funky "Everybody Dance" became a major hit, but unfortunately, Ta Mara & the Seen would go down in history as one-hit wonders. In 1988, Johnson produced their second A&M album, Blueberry Gossip, which was a commercial disappointment and received very little attention. From AllMusic: When Ta Mara & the Seen's self-titled debut album came out in 1985, the Minneapolis funk-rock sound was huge. Countless artists who had no connection to Minneapolis were trying to cop that sound and emulate Prince or the Time, but as a rule, the best Minneapolis grooves came from the Minneapolis artists themselves. Produced by Jesse Johnson, this LP is among the stronger Minneapolis-style funk-rock efforts that came out in 1985. Lead vocalist Ta Mara, who isn't black but sounds like she could be, showed a lot of promise on this album. The LP is best known for the infectious funk hit "Everybody Dance," but Ta Mara is also quite appealing on songs that range from the playful "Summertime Love" to the sweaty "Thinking About You" and the melancholy "Long Cold Nights." Because Ta Mara & the Seen is out of print, fans of the Minneapolis funk-rock sound are advised to grab it at once if they come across a copy.
