Dr Ng said another focus would be to engage NSmen. He said he has asked Minister of State for Defence Lawrence Wong and Senior Parliamentary Secretary Maliki Osman to look into this aspect. Dr Ng said this on Saturday, on the sidelines of the Republic of Singapore Air Force open house at Paya Lebar Airbase. "Our army is made up of citizens. And we have to continue to make sure that we have the will and resolve to defend this place, to be operationally ready at all times," Dr Ng said.
