"Climbing Heights for Lung Cancer" was the inaugural stairclimb event for the Central Area office of the American Lung Association of Florida. The goal was to raise money and awareness about lung cancer. The event was the project of the Lung Cancer Leadership Council, a volunteer leadership advisory board of the Orlando ALAF office, chaired by Gayle Bowman, who you see speaking about her cancer in the video. The event represents two years of board development and event planning, and will happen annually at the Bank of America building in Downtown Orlando for years to come. Thanks go out to countless volunteers, particpants, and firefighters for their priceless support. Spread the word; lung cancer is under-funded relative to other cancers, and it causes more deaths than any other single cancer. Get into this Fight!
