Hi! After 1 year without posting new videos I'm back. I'll be posting v2.0 of my old inventions made on Phun, now with ALGODOO!! Post saying your favorite invention that I did on phun and I'll make a 2.0 of it. ----------------- About the calculator. To understand how it works, you'll need first have to undestand how Binary works... like, 10 in binary it's not "ten" its 2. Because in binary we have just 2 numbers: 1 and 0, and the 1 says that you have to 'count' a number and 0 you dont have to count it.... and the number starts in 1 and it goes with x2 multiplier... It sounds confusing, I know. Maybe google can explain you better... About the calculator, what it does its very simple... Shown in the video, you'll see the "A" numbers... that will determine how many loops the calculator is going to do before it stops. the "B" sets how many number it'll add in each loop. In the demonstration of the video, I made a 3x10 (011 x 0101) and what the calculator did was (2 +8) + (2 +8) + (2 +8) all the results are saved on "X", the result wich adds the numbers in binary... Based on the oscilloscope but heavily optimised Although the scope had 90 pixels, each row of 15 was dependant on one another for data, but optically were independant with 16 lasers being their own system - making a total of 98 lasers for the entire system. the TV runs on only 13 Lasers, running 75 pixels. So is actually more effecient optically than just 1 layer of the oscilloscope. There is a 14th laser, but this is only in an adjustment knob. Although optically simple, the code is very complicated by comparison to achieve the effect. After a weeks worth of work I managed to finish up Triple Play, probably one of the most detailed looping roller coasters in Algodoo. Featuring a launched style lift, the track includes 3 realistic loops and a water spray area at the ending. The design of the train, track, graphics/textures etc are from NoLimits Coaster Simulation. Support textures, etc are from pictures of actual supports and such. For obvious reasons the track isn't a complete circuit, I was also going to add ragdolls but the whole scene is heavily demanding alone, having a ragdoll would have been like 4 fps. Decided to try and model up a giga style roller coaster in Algodoo, the design of the train, track and some graphics/textures are from NoLimits Coaster Simulation. The train has 8 sections, has correct pivots and works just like a real one would. The lift is semi-designed as a cable style lift, it pulls the train up and releases at the top.
