A much better light show than the previous video! Here's what I did: 1. I created a zone for each LED (due to limitations, I had to have Alienware logo/head/media all in one zone). 2. For each zone, I assigned an LED based on band (lower frequencies = speakers, touchpad; mid = keyboard; higher = alienware). 3. I set each color to random. I was trying to clean up my desktop and I came accross a download for a plugin for AlienFX. The program that controls the lights on my PC. It's a plugin for Windows Media Player, WinAmp, and iTunes. For those of you who have an XPS 730 and 730x, go to www.dell.com and go to the bottom of the page. Under the Support category, click on Drivers & Downloads. Click on support for home users, then it should bring you to another page, under "No" click on the "Choose from a list of all dell products", click on Desktops, click on XPS, click on Dell XPS 730x, under System Utilities download the result that applies to AlienFX, download the file and then run it, Once it's installed, go into visualization on either iTunes, WinAmp, or Windows Media Player and enable it. Play media while it's enabled and there you go. :P

I found it diffuicult to find a solution to this problem, it is an issue I had for a while, often on start up I would get an error message regarding Microsoft .Net Framework. The issue now appears to be completly resolved, I hope all you Alienware users find this useful. Please let me know if this solution worked for you.

Config shown on the last secs. The zones obviously would take too long to show, so here is a quick explanation of what I did, very easy: LEFT KEYBOARD set the FREQUENCY BANDS number 1,2,3,4 which correspond to the first Sliders of "Sound energy factor" and Energy Variance Factor". RIGHT KEYB. set FREQ. BANDS number 5,6,7,8/2nd Sliders. What that does is keyboard L and R light up for the highest bass frequencies. I did the same with the other Zones, each one with the 4 numbers that correspond to each sliders. boo ya!
