American Drug War: The Last White Hope: Pre Release Cut

American Drug War The Last White Hope 35 years after Nixon started the war on drugs, we have over one million non-violent drug offenders living behind bars. The War on Drugs has become the longest and most costly war in American history, the question has become, how much more can the country endure? Inspired by the death of four family members from "legal drugs" Texas filmmaker Kevin Booth sets out to discover why the Drug War has become such a big failure. Three and a half years in the making, the film follows gang members, former DEA agents, CIA officers, narcotics officers, judges, politicians, prisoners and celebrities. Most notably the film befriends Freeway Ricky Ross; the man many accuse for starting the Crack epidemic, who after being arrested discovered that his cocaine source had been working for the CIA. AMERICAN DRUG WAR shows how money, power and greed have corrupted not just drug pushers and dope fiends, but an entire government. More importantly, it shows what can be done about it. This is not some 'pro-drug' stoner film, but a collection of expert testimonials from the ground troops on the front lines of the drug war, the ones who are fighting it and the ones who are living it. After 4 years of production including several sold out test screenings in New York, Austin & Los Angeles, the final version of American Drug War "the last white hope" is locked and loaded.

Our America - Drugs

We advocate a Dont do Drugs policy. Drugs can be harmful, addictive and destructive to our lives and society. The current war on drugs, however, has not been successful. Crime, economic problems and abuse related to drug usage are still very present. We believe there needs to be a new direction in fighting these problems. The Our America Initiative believes that one of the best solutions to help with the many problems caused by drugs is to legalize marijuana. We do not advocate the legalization of any other drugs and believe that harm reduction measures should be implemented. Marijuana should be regulated and taxed by the federal government (just like tobacco is currently), which would lead to a lower price for the product and eliminate the criminal element from its distribution, much like the repeal of the prohibition of alcohol many decades back. The Our America Initiative believes that current drug policies need to be changed. The answer to solving this problem lies in sentencing reform, in supplying treatment on demand, and in honest drug education for our children. We advocate heroin maintenance and other harm reduction measures and believe we should move from a criminal to a medical model of dealing with drug usage. The Initiative thinks that locking up more and more people who are nonviolent drug offenders, people whose real problem is that they are addicted to drugs, is simply a waste of money and human resources and fails to deal with the real problems of abuse ...

Drugs in America - conspiracy

The truth about North America's greatest drug problem: Ritalin On any given day in North America, almost five million kids will take a powerful psychostimulant drug. The geographical caveat is important: more kids in North America are diagnosed with attention deficit disorder (ADD) and given drugs like Ritalin to "help" them behave than in the rest of the world combined. In fact, the US and Canada account for a startling 95 percent of worldwide Ritalin consumption. Ritalin is little more than coke for kids. "Cocaine, which is one of the most reinforcing and addictive of the abused drugs, has pharmacological actions that are very similar to those of methylphenidate [Ritalin], which is the most commonly prescribed psycho-tropic medication for children in the United States." US Drug Enforcement Administration has long known that massive amounts of Ritalin are being diverted by adolescents and adults into recreational use, where it's often crushed up and snorted, or even injected. The DEA reported that Ritalin misuse in high schools increased from three to 16 percent from 1992 to 1995. Similarly, it found that while children between the ages of ten and 14 were involved in about 25 emergency-room visits connected with Ritalin misuse in 1991, this number had jumped to 1725 by 1998. There's a violent drug treatment program that tortured children; an overbearing drug czar that doesn't care for the people he hurts in his quest; patients who are being denied the medications they need; doctors being prosecuted for trying to help them; and a substance that we all know of, but nobody wants to talk about. What You Should Know About Drug Prohibition

Students, get a full week of this at a summer seminar: lrnlbty.co In its history, America has experienced two major periods of drug prohibition. This first was the Federal alcohol prohibition from 1920-1933. The second is the current war on drugs, which began in 1971. According to Prof. Angela Dills, during these periods of prohibition in America, both homicide rates and police enforcement costs increased. This makes sense, as prohibitions never actually eliminate use. Rather, prohibitions convert peaceful and legal markets into black markets. In black markets, when disputes arise over sales territory, product quality, or money, the government legal system is not available. This forces drug dealers to resolve disputes on their own, which often leads to violence. The violence of black markets, along with the enforcement of drug policy, attracts the attention of law enforcement. Law enforcement is costly, and the time spent enforcing drug laws could have been spent preventing other crimes like murder, theft, and rape. Drug prohibition not only generates more violence and increases the cost of law enforcement; it also distracts law enforcement and puts citizens at greater risk of crime. Below is a list of all of the clips from that movie with all of the parts from Part 15: The Mother of All Conspiracies - The Global Drug Trade. For Part 15, I used the 2007 Documentary by Kevin Booth, American Drug War - The Last White Hope. One can conclude from this documentary that the quagmire known as the War on Drugs has only created more problems than solutions, more addiction than recovery, and more drugs and gangs in society. I am so outraged about the drug war, that I am willing to devote my entire life to fighting it. So if there is someone out there that needs a soldier in the war against the war on drugs, contact me. Just Say No! to the War on Drugs

A video highlighting the social, political, and economic failures of America's War on Drugs. Howard Colvin (The Wire): I mean, you call something a war and pretty soon everybody gonna be running around acting like warriors. They gonna be running around on a damn crusade, storming corners, slapping on cuffs, racking up body counts. And when you at war, you need a fucking enemy. And pretty soon, damn near everybody on every corner is your fucking enemy. And soon the neighborhood that you're supposed to be policing, that's just occupied territory. David Simon: The people most affected by this are black and brown and poor. It's the abandoned inner cores of our urban areas. And we don't, as we said before, economically, we don't need those people. The American economy doesn't need them. So, as long as they stay in their ghettos, and they only kill each other, we're willing to pay a police presence to keep them out of our America. And to let them fight over scraps, which is what the drug war, effectively, is. The war on drugs is a war on the underclass, that's all it is. It has no other meaning. If you could be Draconian and reduce drug use by locking people up, you might have an argument. But we are the jailing-est country on the planet right now. Two million people in prison. When I started as a police reporter, 33, 34 percent of the federal inmate population was violent offenders. Now it's like, seven to eight percent. So, we're locking up less violent people. Michelle Alexander: Drug War Racism

Litigator-turned-legal-scholar Michelle Alexander, author of The New Jim Crow, argues that we have not ended racial caste in America, we have simply redesigned it: The US criminal justice system functions as a contemporary means of racial control, even as it formally adheres to the principle of color blindness. Her provocative new book challenges the civil rights community—and all of us—to place mass incarceration at the forefront of a new movement for racial justice in America. As the United States celebrates the nation's triumph over race with the election of Barack Obama, the majority of young black men in major American cities are locked behind bars or have been labeled felons for life. A Message from your Local Drug Dealer

I'm no gangster, nor a drug dealer. But the majority of them benefit from drug prohibition. The prohibition of alcohol failed and so has the war on drugs. I don't encourage drug use, but I also don't encourage spending thousands of tax dollars each year on inmates just because they had/used drugs. Please visit Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP) www.facebook.com Stop being outdated and lets be honest about the drug use of America. The demand is high here, and this causes problems at the boarders between America and Mexico. Also the violence caused by the drug trade prohibits the people of Latin America to enjoy a productive life in there home country which gives them nothing but more motivation to enter USA illegally. Also the drug policies have turned police into complete assholes to the point of breaking down doors of suspected drug dealers only to find a joint or nothing at all. When a police officer pulls you over its an uncomfortable situation because the cop wants to interrogate you and try to get you to consent to a search just to possibly find something that you do on your own personal time. There is more to discuss but you have to do your own research. Please support future political candidates that know the drug war is a waste of time and resources. FDA is A Rogue Criminal Agency

The day of the Smoking Gun has arrived. The discovery of a page, on the FDA's own website, proves the FDA is fully aware that: the drugs it certifies as safe have been killing Americans, at the rate of 100000 per year. The FDA website page is currently available under the heading, "Why Learn About Adverse Drug Reactions," and it can be Googled. (Click here to go directly to the FDA page.) The implications of this Smoking Gun are hard to grasp in any rational way. The FDA takes no blame, no responsibility for its actions, and yet it admits the death statistics are accurate. A dvertisement As an investigative reporter, I have been tracking and writing about pharmaceutically-caused deaths for 10 years. I have, on numerous occasions, cited Dr. Barbara Starfield's report in the July 26th, 2000, Journal of the American Medical Association, in which she presents the figure of 106000 deaths per year, in America, as a result of these drugs. I have claimed that the federal government and, in particular, the FDA, are aware of these numbers. And now the page on the FDA's own website confirms the death toll. Yet, nowhere do we see the FDA taking one shred of responsibility for this ongoing holocaust. Holocaust? Add up the figures. Medical drugs cause 100000 deaths in America every year: that means a million Americans are killed every decade. Understand this very clearly. No medical drug in America can be released for public use until and unless the FDA states it is safe. The FDA is ...

Mexico's Drug War

The Mexican Drug War is an ongoing armed conflict taking place among rival drug cartels fighting each other for regional control, and Mexican government forces seeking to combat drug trafficking. However, the government's principal goal has been to put down the drug-related violence that was raging between different rival drug cartels in Mexico before any military intervention was made.[27] In addition, the Mexican government has claimed that their primary focus is on dismantling the powerful drug cartels, rather than on drug trafficking prevention, which is left to US functionaries. Although Mexican drug cartels, or drug trafficking organizations, have existed for several decades, they have become more powerful since the demise of Colombia's Cali and Medellín cartels in the 1990s. Mexican drug cartels now dominate the wholesale illicit drug market in the United States.[31] Arrests of key cartel leaders, particularly in the Tijuana and Gulf cartels, have led to increasing drug violence as cartels fight for control of the trafficking routes into the United States. The US Department of Justice estimates that wholesale earnings from illicit drug sales range from $13.6 billion to $48.4 billion annually. Given its geographic location, Mexico has long been used as a staging and transshipment point for narcotics, illegal immigrants and contraband destined for US markets from Mexico, South America and elsewhere. Every American Watch This Animation ! - The real reason why the US is screwed

This great, humorous, easy to understand 20min animation shows us whats really going on in America and how we are now far away from the principles that once made a great and free nation. It shows how America will NEVER change until the government is no longer controlled by corporations and private banks (yes people, the federal reserve is a private bank ! Most other countries dont have banks like this .) The trouble with a private bank as head bank is that profits will always be their main goal. This isnt good for the majority of the population and this isnt what a heads bank main goal should be. Other countries such as Canada and switzerland have a government run head banks with strict regulations that prevent actions such as overlending (the one that John f kennedy tried to create before being shot) and because of this their economy has hardly been hit in this recent recession. With a government run head bank, the main goal of the bank wouldnt be profit. And because of this banks wouldnt be greedy and even allowed to be lending out loans here there and everywhere... ...This is good because banks overlending to profit the few elite is sorta what causd this whole reccession and financial screw up. The video shows us the TRUE culprits responsible for this financial crisis. A crisis which many people like you and me are struggling through . Voice your opinion to end the federal reserve now ! America will NEVER change until the government is no longer controlled by ...

Lindsay Lohan Poisoned! Along with 300 Million Other Americans

Alex Jones explains why Lindsay Lohan, and by extension millions of Americans are being poisoned with methamphetamine style drugs like Ritalin that cause brain shrinkage, heart problems and a myriad of other disorders. Alex also highlights how SSRI prozac drugs are turning people into psychopaths and leading to a massive increase in suicides and other reckless behavior. Young girls and even babies are now going into puberty as a result of milk laced with hormones, Bisphenol A and a toxic cocktail of other ingested substances. Alex also highlights the deadly threat of sodium fluoride and how it causes IQ reduction, bone cancer, and how vaccines are also contributing to a massive and sustained chemical attack on free humanity as the globalists' eugenics agenda goes into high gear. www.infowars.com The health of our country is in grave condition. We poison ourselves with the water and food contaminated by man-made toxins. Then we poison our minds and souls with untold number of prescription drugs. Now 5 of 6 new drugs on the market don't even treat the conditions for which they are prescribed. We must wake up and take action. Our bodies and environments must be clean so human race can continue it's global awakening to the New World Order. Read the ever expanding list of SSRI stories www.ssristories.com and do an image search for "DU babies" and see photos I could not bring myself to show you in this video.
