"American McGee's Alice" Movie Trailer
There was buzz a few years ago about there being a film adaptation of "American McGee's Alice" in the works, but it's sort of been just floundering about since then. I still think it would be a brilliant idea, and so I decided to make a trailer for what I would envision the film to actually look like. This is my first time doing something sort of horror-related, and it was SO MUCH FUN. I just wish iMovie had more sound effect options, to be honest. American McGee's Alice playthrough-Stage 1
This is the first stage of a planned play through for American McGee's Alice. This takes place after the story of Alice in Wonderland and its sequel, Through the Looking Glass. Alice having spent the last 10 years in an asylum now finds herself in Wonderland, but it doesn't look like she remembers it... This first stage is more like a very basic tutorial, with a lot of NPC interaction. Pretty short, but gives a taster of what's to come.

This is some gameplay from the PS3 version of American McGee's Alice. For those who didn't know, American McGee's Alice was developed by Rouge Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts in 2000. It is is based on Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, a book taking place in the Victorian era and in Alice's fictional Wonderland, that must be far, far less macabre than this game is. Essentially, it's a more twisted version of the book, taking place in an alternate reality where the game's protagonist, young Alice Liddell, loses her mind due to a house fire that kills both of her parents but not her. Unable to cope with survivor's guilt, Alice becomes seriously unstable and loses her mind, which eventually lands her in an asylum where she is poorly treated by its staff. Since she has lost her mind, she also loses control of the the fictional Wonderland, the only place she can seek refuge from the horrors she has experienced. No longer are there idyllic vistas and happy animals; in their place is a wasteland with an enslaved populace, ruled by the tyrannical Queen of Hearts. Many of Alice's "friends" are indeed still there; however, all are warped versions of those found in Lewis Carroll's novel. Some, like the Cheshire Cat, will freely aide Alice, but others have turned towards the dark side and have become evil. Now stuck in a twisted version of her own daydreams, Alice must find out how to regain her sanity before she loses Wonderland forever. Alice is still <b>...</b>

www.gamegoldies.org American McGee's Alice is a third-person puzzle/shooter computer game released on October 6, 2000, which takes place in the Alice's Adventures in Wonderland universe. It was developed by Rogue Entertainment and published, distributed and marketed by Electronic Arts, and under the Sold-Out Software label as well. Alice was designed by American McGee, and featured music composed by former Nine Inch Nails drummer Chris Vrenna. The game is based on the Quake III Arena engine. A PlayStation 2 port was also in development but was later canceled causing Rogue Entertainment to shut down, a decision which infuriated American McGee. The box art of the game was altered after its release, allegedly due to complaints received by Electronic Arts from various consumer groups. The original box art showed Alice holding a bloody Vorpal Blade. The altered version instead showed Alice holding the Icewand, as well as toning down the Chesire Cat's skeletal anatomy. Chapter 5 : Looking Glass Land Alice is now going through the chess villages. The White chess pieces are friendly, while the Red are not. Alice needs to defeat the Red King in order to save the White Queen. After the battle, the Mad Hatter appears and knocks Alice unconscious. Then Alice wakes up in a mirror maze. Next she comes to an area that need to destroy all the clocks pumping gas into the Insane Children's rooms. At last Alice will face Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

The scene that the Gryphon is free appear after the Mad Hatter is defeated.

This is the forth stage of my American McGee's Alice playthrough. This video has a lot of action in it compared with the last. Here we get to see the 'Rage' power-up, which gives Alice much more power than usual...for a short time. Not a very common powerup, but a fun one :). Video includes, Alice decapitating lots of card guards, me not jumping correctly and quick-saving a lot, music puzzles and more bloody Boo Jums. Man I hate those things.
