Westchester officials who run the amusement park blamed the Queens tour operator who organized the outing celebrating the end of Ramadan, saying he failed to tell the 3000 members of the Muslim American Society of New York who made the trip that, out of safety concerns, scarves are not permitted on some of the site's most popular rides. As irked families started lining up for refunds at the gate at around 2:30 pm after being informed of the policy, they started fighting among themselves, said county parks Deputy Commissioner Peter Tartaglia. A smaller project this time. I have a tendency to build huge parks and end up with a lot of lag, so I limited myself to 100x100 squares from the start. Century Gardens Amusement Park is what I came up with. The idea was to have your typical rides and roller coasters interspersed with gardens and interesting features. So we have a hedge maze, a rose garden, a boating lake, a chessboard with a double swinging inverter and other picturesque little corners to discover! The park's main attractions include: Dipper, the out and back wooden roller coaster, situated at the back of the park, Looper, a realistic, low height corkscrew with a couple of inversions and an inbuilt garden which riders plunge into, and Candy Hills, a junior coaster for the kids, which is surrounded by candy topiary and a go-karting track. If peeps are lucky, they will see the miniature steam train go alongside them at one point during the ride. This is the 'Back to the Future The Ride' Mini Game from the horrible Universal Studios Theme Park game for the Nintendo GameCube. The overall mini-game is okay, and it's the only reason why I picked up this whole title for $4 from my local GameStop. The voice of Biff is horrible, they don't even show him - they just show his shadow at the end in the car. There's no sound-clips from the ride, or any of the movies. Just the music. The game is linear and there's not much else to do then hold down A and steer. It would have been nice to have some video or audio clips from the ride - but oh well. The game is sort of enjoyable (but badly done), more so if you're a big Back to the Future fan. It's easy to see why sales of the whole game didn't do well - since it's very boring and not well made. Too bad, this could have been quite fun if they did it right.

It's not too far from Rotterdam in South Holland where we are currently based. It is an amazing theme park, sort of like a European Disney World. It has some amazing rides like the python wooden roller coaster, monsieur cannibal, mirador, fata morgana and the Efteling teacups. It is particularly well known for the spookjebos, or enchanted forest, that features characters from fairy tales like sleeping beauty and Hansel and Gretel as well as Dutch characters like langnek (long neck), and the efteling draak (dragon). It also has animatronic garbage cans that say "papier hier" to encourage kids to put their garbage away. The Efteling now features a hotel, golf course and even a theatre.
