AMZ MOSFET Booster audio demo -- I built it
This is a guitar effects demo of the AMZ MOSFET Booster designed by Jack Orman and built by me. It is a very high input inpedence of 10 Megohm, clean, high gain boost that adds a lot of boost but little coloration to the guitar sound. Also works great for bass guitar. I am sure it would work fine for keyboards also because it has a flat and wide frequency response and low noise. It cleans up the sound and increases the detail of your tone, especially when you turn down the volume and tone control knobs on the guitar. It also acts as a buffer between the guitar and any other effects pedals. This is not a fuzz box or overdrive pedal it provides one thing only, miles of clean boost. This is a subtle effect but it improves the stability of your tone. Use this effects pedal immediately after the guitar and before any other effects. Note: the guitar on this recording is a 1976 Electra Omega X210 which is a Les Paul Custom style guitar. Ok lol i got these clips yesterday, both in back to back games. I don't know why i was laughing when this happened to me lol. In the first clip i get like 2090 hitmarkers, and i suck so much at this game so i missed a lot. The second clip just hurts. Quad in a reg lobby fail! WTF! I wish i didn't change weapons and just picked the sniper from the beginning. o_O Oh btw, the first clip has lie 3 fail "parts". the first fail is the hitmarker fail, then the triple/spray with the secondary gun fail, then the steady aim fail lol. AMZ IC Muff distortion pedal guitar effect Demo, I built it
www.fillmorepedal.com This is a -- STEREO -- demo of the AMZ IC Muff distortion pedal that I built, designed by Jack Orman. I am playing the 1967 Gibson SG Custom guitar through a 1994 Crate Vintage Club 20 amplifier. I built the IC Muff back in 1995 but yesterday I took it apart and heavily modified it, and put it in a new case. Mods include changing the op amp to a Fairchild LF353 and increasing the gain, and adding true bypass wiring with a footswitch. The LF353 gives it a much nicer sound though it breaks up more at high levels -- which is A Good Thing in my opinion. Keep an eye on the guitar knobs as I go through the demo I crank it up a couple times as the demo goes on. Notice the 35 SECONDS SUSTAIN I can get one 1 note with this foot pedal. This pedal is not good for playing fast it is better for slow, lots of sustain, and to play with harmonics. Most of it I am playing with the rhythm pickup with the tone control all the way down. Then with the tone control on the guitar all the way up I switch to middle & treble pickup combination, and treble pickup only. It is easier to control the IC Muff using just the rhythm pickup with the tone control on the guitar turned down all the way. It can get those early Robert Fripp Crimson sounds or Queens of the Stone Age tone. If you have a high speed internet connection click on this link instead. demo of a custom made overdrive pedal and the AMZ miniboost. the over drive pedal is based off the Way Huge Red Llama but incorporates the AMZ presence tone control with the Mid Boost and cut control located on the circuit board via a trimpot. the AMZ MiniBoost pedal is utilising the 2N5457 JFets which is why it sounds so dirty for a clean boost pedal...
