Britain's Got Talent Andrew Johnston Britain's Got Talent is a British television show on ITV (also on TV3 in Ireland). Presented by Ant & Dec, the talent show premiered on 9 June 2007, and was broadcast daily with a live final on 17 June 2007. It is a search for Britain's next best amateur talent act, featuring singers, dancers, comedians, variety acts, and other talents of all ages. Anyone who believed they have talent was encouraged to audition. The winner of the show received £100000 and performed at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Queen and members of the Royal Family at the Empire Theatre in Liverpool. As Britain's Got Talent returns for its second series, hosts Ant & Dec and judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan once again begin their search for Britain's most talented performer. 'Drapchi', a masterpiece of piano, haunting vocals and melodrama, is one of those tracks that makes you lose yourself in the music completely. It's got that powerful kick, heavy melody and deep feel to it, in both the 'Original Epic Mix' and 'Original Piano Edit'. 'Deflagration' blossoms like a night-black flower, adding a touch of mystery to the EP. It builds and rises, unfolding from progressive darkness to the the star-bright light of uplifting trance. Emotion is the key to these beauties, and that's just the way A State of Trance loves it. Dutch producer Setrise gave 'Deflagration' a punch in the face, with an even harder kick and extra wave of energy added. Peak-time stuff!

This comical video presentation by Spadecaller accompaines the Yiddush song originally composed by lyricist Jacob Jacobs and Sholom Secunda in 1932. In 1937, Sammy Cahn heard a performance of the song, sung in Yiddish by African American performers Johnnie and George at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, and on seeing the response, got his employer to buy the rights so he (together with Saul Chaplin) could rewrite the song with English language lyrics. He then convinced The Andrews Sisters to perform the song (recorded November 24, 1937), and it became a major hit.
