Nurien Tech Demo (Alpha) v0.7 has been prepared to provide a sneak peek into a social networking application that is poised to transform the way people socialize and interact in a virtual world. By offering rich 3D graphics and behavior & movements that are truly lifelike, Nurien will allow users to express themselves, virtually, like never before. To that end, the Nurien Tech Demo also serves as a physics performance test. Nurien makes extensive use of NVIDIA's PhysX technology, with physics being processed both on the CPU and graphics processing unit (GPU), allowing users with GeForce 8800 GT, 9600 GT and better graphics processing units (GPUs) in particular to experience Nurien the way the creators intended.
