Antigua is only 14 miles long but the beaches of Antigua are some of the best in the Caribbean. Antigua beaches are white and soft like talcum and powdery, and the waters of Antigua's many beaches are so blue they seem unreal. Antigua's sister island, Barbuda, is a real find. The island is even less touristed and is home to one of the region's most significant bird sanctuaries. Antigua is perfect for sailing and wind surfing and all Family Travel fun. The trade winds of Antigua in the Caribbean are gentle and are ideal for sailors and water sports. The coral reefs of Antigua are also perfect for Family Travel and Adventure Travel because the coral reefs of Antigua in the Caribbean are ideal for snorkelers and scuba diving. Scuba Diving and Sailing are favorite activities in Antigua. But Antigua is very real. Antigua is a wonderful mix of the rough and the beautiful. Goats and cows still wander the paths of the island and the capital of Antigua, St. Johns, is all about authentic Caribbean Island life. To the south of Antigua are the Caribbean islands of Montserrat and Guadaloupe, and to the north and west are Nevis, St. Kitts, St. Barts, and St. Martin. It's the sunniest of the Eastern Caribbean.

This one is their Xtreme tour and is an adventure tour www.adventureantigua.com that zooms right around Antigua's 365 beach speckled coastline with stops for stingray city, snorkeling, lunch, history, and beaches. Cruise fast and have more time at the points of interest including Green Island, the little islands of the North Sound, Nelson's Dockyard, Pillars of Hercules, Rendezvous Bay, Cades Bay, Five Islands Harbour and all the other points of interest. We collect from all the major hotels including Sandals, Galley Bay and Jolly Beach. We also collect from the Cruise Ship docks too. If you are into snorkeling then this is your trip with up to three different sessions, two beach stops, two park stops. This is the most active tour on Antigua and Barbuda. The Eco Tour which you can also find on the website is more of a laid back kind of tour offering enough excitement to keep the whole family happy.

The resort only accommodates about 80 couples, no children. A very relaxing vacation, with two bays which you can often be the only ones on the beach. Wooden huts with tin roofs are your accommodation. All huts have verandas and most have sea views. The food and drink is fantastic and plentyful. Going back in June 2009 with friends who have been three times already. A day trip into the capital St Johns is a must, as is a boat trip to Barbuda.

Adventure Antigua Eco Snorkeling Island Tour by boat
This island day trip has been described by thousands of people as a must do while on holiday to Antigua and Barbuda. This may be the highlight of your vacation. This tour was designed by Eli Fuller to take visitors on a sightseeing day out on the water where you are treated like family and shown the hidden islands of the North Sound. This tour has themes of history and ecology and you will get a chance to see some of the local and migrating wildlife. Your expert local guides will navigate you up to Long Island where you learn about the hawksbill turtle program there. From there you will cruise past Maiden Island with it's interesting history and huge man made reef system. You will then cruise into the mangrove nursery and delicate habitat off Guiana Island where you learn about the interesting relationship between the species there. Next tou navigate up between the reefs and islands like Rabbit Island and Red Head up towards Great Bird where you the guides will take you on an interesting nature walk. When you return you may enjoy a swim while others take part in snorkeling lessons in the shallow waters off the beach. Next it's a buffet lunch on the boat while you look out for turtles which often come up for air nearby. In the afternoon we visit Hells Gate island with its interesting natural bridge.
