Prosumer - Experience is the new reality

Man is God. He is everywhere, he is anybody, he knows everything. This is the Prometeus new world. All started with the Media Revolution, with Internet, at the end of the last century. Everything related to the old media vanished: Gutenberg, the copyright, the radio, the television, the publicity. The old world reacts: more restrictions for the copyright, new laws against non authorized copies. Napster, the music peer to peer company is sued. Volkswagen - Electrician

Description / Synopsis Showing professionals in absurdly dangerous situations: an electrician repairing a dilapidated electrical board with his feet in an aquarium, a butcher going through the cold room on a monocycle surrounded by sharp meat-hooks, a building site worker wearing a long boa scarf ready to get caught in the gears of his machine... Context Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has been campaigning for a number of years to provide better safety to professional road users by offering, as standard on the whole range of its vehicles, ABS, driver's airbag and speed control. This represents a higher level of specification than is normal in the commercial sector. Until now, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles paid homage to professionals by highlighting the dangers they may face in their daily activities. Philosophy/Solution But this year, the Brand and DDB Paris have chosen to create a veritable campaign to encourage responsibility. The objective: remind professionals the risks they take on the road by choosing a vehicle that is certainly cheaper but under-equipped in terms of safety. The creation at this point had to address a simple problem: how, with this message, not to appear arrogant or lesson-giving but rather remain close and understanding with users? In other words, how to stop responsibility appearing as a synonym of culpability?
