I'm back with another Combat Arms 3D Weapon Model. This time, I'm modeling one of Combat Arms' newest rare weapon, the Baron's M416 CQB. As you already know, I am using Google Sketch Up to make this model. It took me a total of 2 hours to make. This time, however, I will be doing things differently. Instead of making the model out of scratch, I will use an actual photo, or screenshot of the gun. From there, I will use that picture for most of the model's coloring. Basically, I am "cutting" parts of the Baron's M416 CQB and "pasting" them on the faces of the model. The model will look more detailed and accurate than if I were to color the entire thing black, blue, white, red etc. The entire footage was sped up 3x, so I can show you the entire process in timelapse. The same thing was applied to all my other 3D weapon model videos. You will see what I mean in the video. Just be sure to watch the entire thing. I also added annotations along the way so you can get a better understanding of what I am doing currently. Program used to make model: Google Sketch Up Total modeling time: 2 hours, 10 minutes Recording Program: CamStudio Program used to make video: Windows Movie Maker Please SUBSCRIBE, LIKE, and COMMENT!
