So I'm doing a mini-montage for every gymanst that will compete in Nationals (Just seniors for now). This is Rebecca Bross and Bridgette Caquatto (I'm going alphabetical). I really wanted to showcase their skills and combinations. My boyfriend is taking me to Nationals and he doesn't know much about gymnastics so I'm making these montages so he can see what each gymnast looks like and what skills they are doing. I put them all in slow motion as well so he can see what is exactly going on! I figured it would be awesome to share these with you all too. When you see these skills done in slow motion you can really see how intricate they are. I knew Rebecca Bross' tumbling passes were difficult but I never paid attention to what they really were. Now that I can see them slowed down I can tell how hard they really are! Hopefully this helps you get more familiar with the gymnasts going to nationals and what skills they are capable of. Now since I don't know every gymnast like the back of my hand I doubt I will have all their hardest skills in here. the best montage I have ever done :) a re-upload from AshleyakaFlipper2. montage of shawn johnson at the 2008 olympic games. she came up short for every meet, but she never gave in. "why don't you just dream again?" meant a lot to this montage because when shawn saw each dream slipping away she had to refocus and dream again. Her dream of winning the gold medal finally came true on the very last day of competition, the balance beam final. She had the flu but fought through it to win her gold medal. That's the greatest moment in sport's history that I've ever witnessed. Sam Shapiro (in my opinion) has the best form and is the best dancer in this generation. She's so incredible. She's definately one of my favorites. so I'm absolutely in love with this song. However, it gets very annoying very quickly so I didn't want to make a whole montage to it. Funny story - I was watching the Rebecca Bross Undo It montage while playing this song and I was like I wish i would have used airplanes instead of undo it! I can only handle so much country music but i love the editing I did in the undo it montage. So I decided to give you a little treat with this montage. I tweaked the editing and just put it to a different song because let's face it - sometimes the first song never turns out to be the right song. So I'm doing a mini-montage for every gymanst that will compete in Nationals (Just seniors for now). This is Gabrielle Douglas and Jessica Howe (I'm going alphabetical). I really wanted to showcase their skills and combinations. My boyfriend is taking me to Nationals and he doesn't know much about gymnastics so I'm making these montages so he can see what each gymnast looks like and what skills they are doing. I put them all in slow motion as well so he can see what is exactly going on! I figured it would be awesome to share these with you all too. When you see these skills done in slow motion you can really see how intricate they are. Hopefully this helps you get more familiar with the gymnasts going to nationals and what skills they are capable of. Now since I don't know every gymnast like the back of my hand I doubt I will have all their hardest skills in here. So if I missed one that is really amazing please just leave it in a comment and I can upload a corrected montage. Oh another note I'm so excited to go to Nationals! I went to Classics and it was the first time I've ever seen gymnastics in person. It was so sparkly! Lol that was my first thought. Those leotards are so bright and eye catching. It is so much better in person! If you ever get the chance to go - then go! It's so amazing. And I finally saw Shawn Johnson!!!! That was the best thing ever! Anyways enjoy these montages hopefully I'll get them all done!
