Bieg Konstytucji XXI
Rekordowa liczba 1740 osób pobiegła, by uczcić rocznicę uchwalenia Konstytucji 3 maja. Trasę 5 km najszybciej pokonali Mariusz Giżyński i Maria Cześnik. Pod hasłem „Masz prawo do biegania" w Warszawie odbył się XXI Bieg Konstytucji. -- Ja regularnie korzystam z tego prawa, bo biegam codziennie -- mówiła przed startem rehabilitantka Halina Czerwonka. -- W swojej pracy spotykam się z pacjentami, którym ruchu brakuje i wiem dobrze, czym to się kończy -- dodaje. Iza i Marcin Kubanowscy z Białołęki startowali po raz pierwszy. -- Sami jesteśmy ciekawi, jak nam pójdzie -- mówił pan Marcin. -- Najważniejsze, by wyprzedzić spacerowiczów z kijkami nordic walking. Na starcie pojawiło się kilku burmistrzów, samorządowców, byłych sportowców, dziennikarzy. Były dzieci i seniorzy. Zawodników nie zniechęciły chłód ani ostry podbieg na początku trasy. -- Biegam regularnie od kilku lat i górki też pokonuję. Z zawodowcami nie będę się ścigał, ale pobiegnę spokojnie w środku stawki -- zapowiada 81-letni Witold Stokowski. Przed rozpoczęciem biegu odegrano hymn, a sygnał do startu wystrzałem dała prof. Ewa Łętowska z Trybunału Konstytucyjnego. Najpierw na trasę ruszyli zawodnicy na wózkach, później biegacze, a na końcu zwolennicy nordic walkingu. Podbieg Agrykolą do Al. Ujazdowskich, zwany ścianą płaczu, rzeczywiście był najtrudniejszą częścią trasy, za to Myśliwiecką w dół nogi same niosły. Na mecie w parku Agrykola czekały medale, dyplomy, woda i ciepły posiłek. -- To była zabawa, bo biegam <b>...</b>
