Los Gatos, CA, 2001 A peaceful day of skateboarding in a public parking lot came to a terrifying halt when a local worker in his mid 40's, unprovoked, assaulted a small boy with a wooden board, claiming, "the cops will never believe you!" when confronted by the boy's friends. But little did he realize that the entire incident was being secretly documented on video. After attempting to unlawfully detain a different boy, the maniac worker placed a call into the Santa Clara County Sheriff's department. The boys, having done nothing wrong, decided to wait for the sheriff so they could report the violent worker. Upon arrival, however, the sheriff simply let the worker go, seemingly unconcerned about the truth or the video evidence. Instead, the condescending sheriff greeted the law-abiding group of skateboarders with extreme hostility, even accusing them of "dinging people's cars," and "tresspassing on private property"-- referring to the public parking lot the boys were skating in. Fortunately, this uncalled-for display of discrimination against skateboarders--which is not uncommon--was being captured on video. After ordering the boys to leave, they obediently complied, but instead of just leaving it at that, the power-tripping sheriff decided that the innocent boys hadn't had enough abuse. The head coach of KHL side Vityaz, Andrey Nazarov, has attacked Belarusian fans with a hockey stick during his team's away game at Dynamo Minsk. Vityaz are well-known as one of the hardest squads in the league. And when the Moscow Region team went a goal down on the final minute of the match, they responded by staging several fights with Dynamo players, which caused outrage in the stands. The local supporters began throwing cigarette lighters and other foreign objects on to the ice and at the Vityaz bench as well, insulting the visiting players and staff. That was when Nazarov, who was one of the most famous tough-guys in the NHL, lost his patience. Faith Laugier is a Journalist/Radio show host and personal friend of mine. Today, 11-17-11, she was indiscriminately grabbed from the crowd while moving away from the chaos, as instructed to do by NYPD. At the very start of this video you can see a police officer rush her from behind and body slam her to the pavement. Handcuffs were then placed on her in such a way that caused the veins in her arms to erect. Officers refused to loosen her cuffs as well as explain why she was being detained. Also, several times in the midst of my filming and photographing her arrest several police officers attempted to swat and take my camera from me. At one point an officer shouted, "grab that man",me. I was able to remain safe.

Lennox Yearwood, Jr., president of the Hip Hop Caucus, was attacked by six capitol police today, when he was stopped from entering the Cannon Caucus Room on Capitol Hill, where General Petreaus gave testimony today to a joint hearing for the House Arms Services Committee and Foreign Relations Committee on the war in Iraq. After waiting in line throughout the morning for the hearing that was scheduled to start at 12:30pm, Rev. Yearwood was stopped from entering the room, while others behind him were allowed to enter. He told the officers blocking his ability to enter the room, that he was waiting in line with everyone else and had the right to enter as well. When they threatened him with arrest he responded with "I will not be arrested today." According to witnesses, six capitol police, without warning, "football tackled" him. He was carried off in a wheel chair by DC Fire and Emergency to George Washington Hospital. Rev.
