
This is Pedipalp, a phidippus audax jumping spider. She was really docile to the point she seems tamed. I would say the cutest part of the video is when she does a "salute" with her right pedipalp. I know I have quite a bit of "cute" jumping spider vids, but I never get tired of these jumpers. Pedipalp was released on May 30, she is back living in the wild where I found her. She has been my favorite spider since I really got into jumpers, which is when I recorded the video of a platycryptus undatus and titled it World's Cutest Jumping Spider on My Finger. There are vids of spiders on Youtube that depict spiders in so many ways, from being creepy, a big spider attacking a Daddy, a Mama, a cat, or whatever else they have. Then there are a lot of pet spiders, world largest spiders, spiders on national geographic. Then there are the funny videos like those by Zack Scott with the "giant kitchen spider" or other giant spiders he finds. His videos are hilarious, I love watching them from time to time. Another vid I like is "big spider attacks daddy", by leokimvideo. Then there are the jumping spider vids, these really are the ones that got me into spiders and handling spiders. As I saw the vids of jumpers, cute came to my mind, especially after I had recorded my first handling of a jumping spider, and that would be the "worlds cutest jumping spider on my finger" video. Many people will say something nice about jumpers which are the salticidae group of spiders, but there are <b>...</b>
