Here's a little autocross montage I shot on September 27, 2009. This was the first time I had ever seen autocrossing before. I was able to get a ride in the last black corvette shown in the video. It didn't take me very long after the ride started to realize why we needed to wear helmets(your head gets banged around the interior a lot). This was a really fun day and I had a great time. It was a high-adrenaline environment, and I was wearing steel toe boots! With an overcast morning practice session, the weather quickly went monsoon after lunch break. 1980 Camaro Z28 autocrossing at the Miami Metro Zoo
This video is from May 19th, 2001. I was participating in an autocross at the Miami Metro Zoo, which I believe was being sponsored by the Equipe Rapide sports car club. The car is a 1980 Camaro Z28, driven by me, which has since been sold. I sometimes really miss that car, but at the same time, happy its gone.

Autocross Louisville Kentucky 2011
Here's an autocross montage shot in Louisville Kentucky in the UPS parking lot at Louisville International Airport. This event took place in August 2011 and is a mix from the morning and afternoon runs. After receiving feedback from various people I've tried to make this video feel like my original autocross video from 2009. I've done my best to include as many participants as possible but some are probably left out. I used an unhacked Panasonic GH2 shooting at 1280 x 720 60p...unfortunately I used the lower data rate version of that option, but that shouldn't effect the quality too much. One of the more interesting things I messed with on the shoot was the ETC mode with the Panasonic 100-300mm OIS lens, which if on a full frame sensor turns the lens into roughly a 780mm - 2340mm. When shooting full telephoto I was very frustrated in the moment of recording because even though I was watching the flip out LCD, the action was so fast and the field of view so small I couldn't really tell if I was keeping the cars framed properly. Once I captured and transcoded the footage I was beyond impressed with the ETC mode and was very thankful to be using a nice tripod head. The only other piece of gear I wish I had was a variable ND filter so I didn't have to stop down all the way. FSAE West 2010 Autocross Onboard - University of Washington Car #47
Onboard footage from the University of Washington's Team 21 Formula SAE race car at the Formula SAE West competition hosted by the Auto Club Speedway. This footage is from the autocross event on the afternoon of day three of the competition. I was the second of two drivers to make my timed laps in our car. Having been preoccupied during the previous quarter of school, I did not get a chance to drive the car before competition. These two laps were actually my first and second outings in the car at full speed. Without the help and support of my team I would not have been able to perform at the level I did. Both laps were clean while the second was fast enough to earn the team a sixth place finish in the autocross event.
