This is the 2011 Lotus Evora, the largest and most comfortable car Lotus has ever made, yet it still retains the famous razor sharp handling the brand is known for. The Evora 2+2 is advertised as the worlds only production mid-engine/rear drive car with a backseat. That said, the back seat is not really big enough for humans but is very convenient to carry plenty of stuff, making the car quite practical. Plus, Lotus has gone to great lengths to make the humans that do fit into this car more comfortable than in past models. Lots of creature comforts such as Sat/Nav, beautifully stitched apholstery, power folding mirrors, and a back up camera make the Evora a very pleasant vehicle when you're not scaring yourself silly trying to find the limits of it's handling capabilities. That's exactly where this car really shines. 0-60 mph happens in 4.9 seconds which puts it firmly in super car territory and the handling is flat out amazing. Experience some sights and sounds of the 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 HEMI Inaugural Edition. I was able to drive it on the same canyon roads that I recently drove the Mustang Shelby GT500 and was shocked at how fast and how great this car handles for being over 600 lbs. heavier than the Shelby. This limited edition 392 IE package will cost about $47000 and features the new 6.4L HEMI engine that is good for 470 horsepower and 470 ft.lbs. of torque. The special interior is very flashy at first but fits perfect with the overall feel of the car...which is in your face awesome but sedate enough to live with every day. Speaking of living with this car, during my grueling commute to work the few days I had this thing, my fuel mileage average was 21 mpg combo which blew me away. Do I want this car, heck yes I do! But this price range has some stiff competitors. The collect-ability factor is very high with this factory hot rod though. Dodge will make less than 1500 of these so you had better get in line pretty quick to own one.

Dozens of cars from super high end exotics to custom built racing karts, compete to set the highest laser recorded speed over the course of one mile on tarmac from a standing start. This is my new Hot Bodies Ve8 Electric Buggy and I'm getting a little practice at Hot Rod Hobbies on a club race night. The Losi 2.0 Buggy is piloted by my 11 year old nephew, Wingnut, and he is really fast! The usual mayhem of mixed traffic is on the track and this car went on to win the Sportsman class that night (mixed gas and electric).

On board camera mounted to the roof of my Traxxas Slash wins a heat race of Open Short Course at my local track. The truck has a Sidewinder brushless but is stock otherwise. The track is very rough so the footage is as well, but the guys are hard at work over 4th of July weekend re-working the track in a new configuration and I'll soon be able to put the camera on my SC8 for some racing action. Last week I finished second with my SC8 in Sportsman 1/8 Scale Buggy!!!
