Marc Antoine Audette convinced Alaska's governor she was speaking to Nicolas Sarkozy during a six-minute chat aired on a Montreal radio programme. Topics discussed ranged from the beauty of Mr Sarkozy's wife, Carla Bruni, to the prospect of a joint hunting trip. A spokesperson for Mrs Palin said she was "mildly amused" by the prank. At one point during the phone call, aired three days before the US election, Mr Audette told Mrs Palin he could see her as president one day. Pete's a big fan of Ultimate Human #4 but Justin's not having it and says there's a Duck Tales reference in there somewhere. Hmmmm. Then, we've made it all the way to Countdown #1 and we've gotta say, we haven't really been bowled over by this series. It just didn't pan out and we didn't need 52 issues of this. The Secret Invasion is on in New Avengers #40 with Bendis at the reins. We really enjoyed this issue, but we think putting this great story under the "New Avengers" title does this story a disservice. It's a cold chilly morning, and a mysterious man dressed in black is standing in front of a gravestone, having flashbacks of the events that led to the zombie's death. At 9:50 PM in Falador, a man named Edward enters a little house to wait for a girl named Catherine, who apparently had arranged to meet with him at around 10:00. Edward stands there for a while, and suddenly the man dressed in black rushes in and slices Edward from behind. The next day, Little Egg is doing his normal morning activities. He goes by Farmer Fred's to buy a few eggs. After he leaves, Fred goes into his room, unaware that someone with a scimitar is hiding behind the door. Little Egg returns to his tutor's house. Tutor asks Little Egg how his magic training has been, knowing that he's been slacking off. Little Egg accepts Tutor's soft rebuke and decides to start training immediately.
