Last Friday, the reports came out that US born Muslim Cleric Anwar-Al-Awalki had been killed in a drone strike in Yemen, after the US government placed him on assassination list, and without any due process whatsoever. Now the Washington Post is reporting that the Justice Department wrote a secret memorandum authorizing the legal targeting of Awlaki....and according to administration officials that leaked this story, there was no dissent. So now that the administration has successfully assassinated Awlaki, something they are allegedly confident that they had the legal justification to do......why is the memorandum, any of the evidence in fact, still secret?
