Another remarkable video made by my dear friend Ice (icecantata) in Chile to my song "The Coming Monsoon." This was the title track off my debut CD - in essence, an introspective collection of abstract thoughts that filled my mind while we were in the studio working on the CD. It is a bit different than some of my other stuff and in 2002 was chosen and went on a compilation CD of new alternative rock artists for that year. I've mentioned this before, but I was surprised to be categorized as an "alternative" rock artist because I have never once written a song attempting to adhere to a particular "style." In essence, what comes out, comes out! After all, in my mind, music is music regardless of so-called commercial categories that exist. So anyway, this "alternative rock song" :) received a tiny bit of recognition then and got a little airplay around the world. However, the timing was not good for me as an artist since I had just stepped away from the music scene to focus on some personal matters -- family, etc. Thus, I could not promote and do the follow-up required. As a result, this song -- along with most of my music -- remained idle for about 6-7 years until I re-released it toward the end of 2009 on youtube. Of note, Gene Kunkle an amazing Atlanta guitarist, is to be recognized for producing this track and integrating a unique classical guitar style that truly compliments the song. In terms of myself, I received a few good reviews from critics about my creative use <b>...</b>

Tim puts on a TV clean show that goes from one extreme like Disneyland to another like slavery and remains inclusive to all the whole time. Tim Babb began his career as an air personality on Mix 106.5FM in San Jose, California. He honed his craft representing the radio station by hosting many on-site events through out the Bay Area. Doing stand-up for so many years in the shadow of San Francisco resulted in an act that takes the edge of the big city and combines it with the geek factor of the Silicon Valleywith a splash of energy thats all Babb. There is hilarity all around us, but sometimes it takes a human cartoon like Tim to make us see it. He picks up many different rocks and finds whats funny underneath.
