This is the first level and it's not too bad, but the crate bridge can be a little troublesome when you do it the hard way. If you manage to lose other places than that, you truly suck. Watch the video response to see how to do the crate bridge the easy way.

Yes, this is my new project. More than a year after I finished Crash 3, it's finally time for another adventure with Crash & Co(co). Unfortunately, it's nowhere near as good as the first three games, but since I'm running out of ideas and this possibly is my most requested game, I figured I might as well do it. It should be mentioned that I've only played this game twice before, and I gave up after the first world both times because it bored and annoyed me. Now that I'm trying to beat it 106%, I'm finding myself enjoying it a little more, but it still has its flaws. First of all, the controls on the regular platform levels are horrible. Steering Crash is really awkward compared to the previous games and doing slide jumps is a pain in the ass. The camera angle is also very annoying. Some times, you can even jump off screen. What were they thinking? Thankfully, this is the Xbox version, so I don't have to deal with the 40 second loading times. This is going to take a while for me to get used to, so don't be surprised if I screw up now and then. However, the point of these videos is to show how to beat it 106& and not to show off any über skillz that I don't have anyway. Seriously, I get way too much credit for my Crash Bandicoot skills. I can agree that I am above average, but I'm not a super player. Anyway, this level is pretty easy, as you can expect from the first level, but there is a death route here, so you can't lose any lives before you get there. However, that <b>...</b>

I've only known about this level for a year or so, since somebody mentioned it on my channel. I don't know why, but I never bothered to search for a way to play it, or even find out if you could play it. Then jbreckmckye posted a video of it today and he was kind enough to include the code and explain how to play it. Obviously, I had to try it and I had to get the gem on it. I must say this is the hardest and quite possibly the best Crash Bandicoot level ever. It's a shame they left it out of the game, as it only would have made an already excellent game better. Yeah, it's hard, but it's not that hard to beat normally. After all, there are three checkpoints here, contrary to Slippery Climb, which only has one. Getting the gem, however, is a nightmare, and I needed close to 50 attempts. There are three invisible tokens (probably Tawna) on this level, but the bonus stage it unlocks doesn't exist, so getting all three will crash the game. You can see it in jbreckmckye's video. So, in order to get the gem, you have to avoid getting one of these. Location of tokens: 0:27, 3:21 and 4:48. I didn't get the first one. How to play the level? I'll just copy the info from jbreckmckye's video. Some people hate the underwater levels, but I think it was a good idea. There's only one type of levels in this game I could have done without, but we'll get back to that later. OK, since Crash Bandicoot Warped has a VERY HARD TIME mixing the samples correctly in "stereo" music, one way or another, it has to bug it. So I had to record this in "mono". Maybe the quality isn't as good as the stereo option, but believe me this is the ENTIRE SONG WITH ALL THE USUALLY MISSING INSTRUMENTS IN EVERY SINGLE VERSION I SEARCHED IN THE NET (along with youtube). www.longplays.org Played by Spazbo4 This is my first longplay for this site so I probably did pretty bad compared to other longplays, I hope it is okay for people if I loaded a save file after I beat the final boss the first time, I loaded the save just because I had all the relics on that file so that I can play the 5 secret levels. I didn't get every single gem in the game which I hope that everyone is fine with because I did manage to get all of the colored gems and I used my brother's save file so that I could get the secret ending you get when you have all the gems and all of the crystals. If I do Crash 2 I will most likely do the exact same thing on how I ge thte secret ending because I can't get all the gems on my own, I use my brother's save file for the secret ending, but I can get to every single level and get all the special colored gems for that game if I do that, its just this is my first longplay and I would like to explain everything I can.

This is the random games series in which I choose a random ps1/ps2/n64 etc game, play it for a few minutes and give my thoughts and opinions on it. I'll probably do one either once or twice a week as well as the normal amount of mw2 videos I put up. Crash bandicoot (ps1) definitely has to be one of my favourite games ever, a great example of what a good platformer should be like. It's simple admittedly - no storyline etc but the gameplay is solid and even years after it's release I still like to play from time to time for a laugh.
Ok, here's another Crash Bandicoot game for you all. It should be mentioned that I have only beaten this game once and I've never gotten 100% before, so this should be fun. Already on the first level, there is a colored gem. To get it, you simply have to run through the level without touching any boxes. Once you have it, you can simply lose and then get all the boxes to get the regular gem. If you wonder why the music is slow and Crash runs faster, watch my video named "Mega Glitchorama".

This is the easiest level of this kind so far. There are no really hard to get boxes. I'm sure I could have used nitro most of the level, but I decided to take it slow. Time trial: This is kinda hard. In order to get the platinum, you must hold the nitro all the time and hit all the time boxes. As a matter of fact, that's not really enough. I had an attempt where I did just that and I only got gold. It was only a matter of 1/10 of a second, but still. So, if you want to get the platinum here, you should cut turns as much as possible too. My time: 17:96 Platinum requirement: 18:10 Notice how the first 0,02 seconds of the video show Coco after finishing the level? I have no idea why that happened.

While the gameplay is still intact, the graphics are refined and are much more impressive than the original. The game is much improved and helped establish Crash Bandicoot as a legitimate series.
