Join facebook fan page!: www.facebook.com www.myspace.com The Adagio in G minor for violin, strings and organ continuo, is a neo-Baroque composition popularly misattributed to the 18th century Venetian master Tomaso Albinoni (1671-1751), but in fact composed entirely by the 20th century musicologist and Albinoni`s biographer Remo Giazotto. I`ve heard hundreds of performances of this immortal Adagio. I was going for a long time to record it by myself: - on the one hand, because it is one of the most famous and one of my favorite classical pieces, and secondly cause no one in whole youtube didn`t play it well (or fully) on the guitar so far. The title G minor scale I transposed to E minor, because of limitations of 7-string instrument.

Join facebook fan page!: www.facebook.com www.myspace.com I know that some of you may say that this solo is weird and that it is not the bass guitar to play like that, but first - if this guitar can play like that, is to say that you may play like that, and second - only by breaking stereotypes, by combining styles and techniques, through the syncretism of forms, we can get something new, original and better - the one who copies the style of the others, it is predictable and not make the art of music anything that was pushing the story forward. "Meditation" song was composed by me in this year. Recorded for 7-string Conklin bass guitar with loop station, zoom multieffect and drum machine. Max. 9 basses at the same time. The main technique I usually use is two-handed tapping, but in this case I use the others, such as one-handed tapping, scratch, picking, sweep picking, fingering or 'natural' and 'artificial' harmonics. Effects I used are: reverb, distortion, delay and acoustic (some mixed together). I hope You`ll enjoy it. Cheers!

The tradition of writing etudes emerged in the early 19th century with the rapidly growing popularity of the piano. Of the vast number of etudes from that era some are still used as teaching material (particularly pieces by Carl Czerny and Muzio Clementi), and a few, by major composers such as Frédéric Chopin, Franz Liszt, Claude Debussy and Charles-Valentin Alkan, achieved a place in today's concert repertory. Composers of the 20th century variously composed etudes related to the old tradition (György Ligeti), etudes that required wholly unorthodox technique (John Cage), and etudes that required unusually facile technique.

Sobre todo decir que en el segundo solo son dos vídeos diferentes. Wenas, soy Manolo Parra, guitarra solista de un grupo zamorano que se llama Adrenalina. Está formado por Alberto Cillero, Andrés Fernández, Sergio Port, Carlos Carpio y yo. Aquí estoy tocando La Primavera de Vivaldi con todos los instrumentos. Para las posibles críticas, pido que estas sean constructivas (Es decir, que me enseñéis lo que hago mal y me digáis como hacerlo bien) ya que no me vale de nada que digáis que lo hago mal o me insultéis. Siento sobre todo la mala calidad del vídeo, antes lo tenía en un archivo AVI que se veía mejor, pero me ocupaba una brutalidad de espacio y lo cambie por un MPG.
