If I forget to wash my brush and use a dirty brush to apply my face powder, I will break out the next day. There are two different ways that I clean my makeup brushes : daily spot cleaning and weekly deep cleaning. I use to deep clean my makeup brushes with my sephora brush shampoo, but switched to hand soap and olive oil earlier this month. I think this method is a lot more affordable and better than going out to buy those expensive brush shampoos.
