Marc Jaffee attended Vassar College, and received his MFA from Washington University in St. Louis. He lives in Brooklyn. His work can be found in The Best American Poetry 2004, Hanging Loose, Storyscape, The Saint Ann's Review, and Spork. Kimiko Hahn, author of eight collections, finds her material from disparate sources--whether exhumation (The Artist's Daughter) or classical Japanese texts (The Narrow Road to the Interior). Rarified fields of science triggered her latest work in Toxic Flora and continue in her current writing (some which can be found in Field, Drunken Boat, and a forthcoming American Poetry Review). Other writing projects have taken her to film and TV. Her most recent award was Guggenheim Fellowship and she is a distinguished professor in the MFA Program in Creative Writing & Literary Translation at Queens College, City University of New York. She appeared in two editions of The Best American Poetry -- 1996 and 2010. The Big Apple BAP: NYC's Best American Poetry Poets is a night celebrating New York City's finest poets, whose poems over the years have been honored with inclusion in the highly respected annual anthology, The Best American Poetry. www.bestamericanpoetry.com Hosted by The Best American Poetry's founding editor, David Lehman, this ...
