Biréli Lagrène (Live In Montreux 1981) {JohnFloyd}

John McLaughlin & Bireli Lagrene - Blue Train [better quality]

Very rare video footage of two jazz guitar visruosi, John McLaughlin & Bireli Lagrene, at work in John Coltrane's Blue Train. . Different schools, different generations, different origins, great music. I first uploaded this vid back in 2007 as itsartolie and it got thousands of views and a great debate about jazz guitar. It is of better quality than the one posted on youtube, enjoy.

Bireli Lagrene German TV 1979/1980 part 2

Bireli,aged 13,plays his solo piece Bluma on german TV circa 1979/1980. Does anyone recognise any of the the Sinti musicians jamming on All of Me shortly after the Bireli clip? I also decided to include a nice clip of the Titi Winterstein Quintet at the peak of their powers--with the great Lulu Reinhardt and Holzmano Lagrene on guitars.
