*I highly recommend that you have Youtube annotations enabled.* A montage of my funny moments while playing online in GTA 4! I used Youtube annotations more than captions, mainly because of the changing camera positons; it'd be confusing to immediately know who I am and where I am if I used captions, not to mention the captions kept blocking too much of the bottom of the screen (and the putting them at the top of the screen feels weird; I tried it, but it was still confusing). So I used the YT annotations for all players in the game. I considered different colors for different people, but decided that'd be too distracting. The last good thing about YT annotations is that people can disable them if they find them annoying (I'm all about making viewers as happy as I can ^^). But, the fact that I didn't have recordings of people screaming ingame made this a very different style video than what I usually do. I didn't use some clips I would have if I could have recorded what people were saying, and I kept some clips I wouldn't have if I had voices recordable. It also allowed me to more heavily use music (music can oeverwhelm voice chat). I think it's a nice change. I made this video using the ingame recorder (similar to source recording). It has some good things, but mostly it's worse than source. It can't record voice chat or player's names. The hud isn't recorded, but I am able to have a lot more flexibility in my camera postions than when recording with source. Still, it <b>...</b>

Sooooooo, just assorted clips of me playing GTA4 online either by myself or with a few friends. No staged clips, well, except maybe for the few stunt ones. But normally, those happened by accident, and I don't think I ever went out of my way to do them. Speaking of stunts, hopefully these are better than the few I had in my first video, but I know they aren't as epic as some of the other ones out there :P When first making this video, I felt it was too music heavy. The bus clip at 0:18 was almost omitted from the video, but I left it in, not because it was so awesome (yeah I know), but because I found it ironic. Trying to think like a viewer, it looked like the guys in the bus were going to die (friends and me); come on, if bus + gas station doesn't equal death for all of us, I don't know what does! This was my Safety Day recertification sky dive (gotta love the irony). I hadn't jumped in a few months, so I needed an instructor to jump with me (you need to jump every 30 days up until you get 50 or more jumps). Unknown to me, my altimeter failed (it got stuck showing 10500 feet), and I was not altitude aware (BIG mistake) as I was focussed between my instructor and a broken altimeter. My instructor also had an all black suit on and was wearing black gloves. So every time he pointed at me, all I saw was his elbow emanating from his silhoutte. When it finally dawned on me that something was wrong, we were at approximately 1200 feet when I waived off. We figured I pulled my main around 1000 feet, which was just a second or so before my reserve chute deployed automatically, being fully deployed at approximately 850 feet! Nothing like landing under two chutes (which I did due to a downplane as I went to release the main). Do NOT try this on your own!!

I'm not a big fan of the whole symbiote saga and Venom, neither in the comic books, tv shows and especially not in the movie, but hey, it's very popular enough for me to make a video out of it. Spectacular Spider-Man has done a great version of the symbiote, better than the 90s cartoon? Hard to say. The song is called "What I've Done" by Linkin Park.
