Colonel Bogey March

Trompetterkorps der Koninklijke Marechaussee (The Band of Her Majesty Royal Netherlands Military Police) (Orchester der Königlich Niederländischen Militärpolizei) The "Colonel Bogey March" written in 1914 by Lieutenant FJ Ricketts (also known as Kenneth Alford), a British military bandmaster and director of music for the Royal Marines. The origin of the tune is without doubt british. A memorable feature of the "The Bridge on the River Kwai" movie is the Colonel Bogey theme, that's whistled by the POW's when they enter the camp.
