It was a great night & I felt lucky & priviliged to be able to see 2 of my favourite bands in my home town in the same week - Simple MInds one night, then Depeche Mode the next. Sting performing Why Should I Cry For You with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in Dublin's O2 Arena on Thursday Oct 7th 2010. I have to say, I've been lucky enough to have been able to see a good few gigs by many top bands / artists. The show tonight was one of the best gigs I've ever been to in my whole life (so far :-)). It was a pleasure to see such professionalism on stage. Can't recommend this tour strongly enough for anyone in a position to go see it - if you're undecided - go - you won't be disppointed. Jon & the boys captured up close playing Blaze of Glory. It was a super hot day at Punchestown Racecourse in County Kildare Ireland. Weather was fabulous all that Saturday June 7th 2008 & the large crowd was in fine form. The atmosphere was electric. Hope people enjoy this footage & sorry the audio is slightly over saturated / distorted (still fairly listenable though) - it was just the close proximity to the speaker stacks & overall high volume being up close etc..
