This is a nice video I shot at the Threshing Show in Sycamore Illinois a few years ago while they were out plowing in the field. It is a Case Steam Traction Engine, I believe it is 80 horse power, and it is pulling an 8 bottom plow. I stood there as it approached and filmed it drawing closer and closer, then angled the camera and shot it as it went by all in one shot instead of merging multiple clips together. I think the girl on the throttle was getting a little nervous seeing me standing that close, but as I run the sawmill at the Freeport Show and grew up around this type of equipment, I stayed at a comfortable distance, and knew when to move if need be.
