29/08/1932 BATH AND BOUDOIR Duration: 01 mins 21 secs Black & White with Sound Barmy story about a woman who has lots of animal themed knickknacks in her bathroom and boudoir. We see several animal themed items in a lady's bathroom and boudoir. Titles read: "Bath and Boudoir. Animals are in favour with fuzzy femininity." M/S of a girl sitting in a bath with her back to us. She pins up her hair, then reaches for a sponge in the shape of a monkey. Picking up a bar of soap shaped like Bonzo the Dog, she rubs it on the sponge. On a bathroom shelf we see a pottery dog toothbrush holder and a pottery elephant (not sure if this is used for anything in particular!). C/U of a powder compact with a fabric cat head on the outside being opened and used at a dressing table. A glamorous brunette in her boudoir is helped on with her garter by her maid. C/U of the garter shows a gold or silver cockerel in the centre of it (this girl is obviously a Pathe employee!). She rests her foot on a plastic pig head cushion, then reclines on her settee to read, plumping up her dog head cushion as she does so.
