www.ericthecarguy.com Most of you know that the rear brake shoe videos are among my most popular so when I get a chance to video a job like this I always take the opportunity. This one is pretty typical of an American car in my experience and I believe to be a pretty straightforward operation. Also covered in this video is jacking up the vehicle and putting it on jack stands because I get so many requests for that. Climbing Tools: The Carabiner Brake

Mikes Mountain Salsa You can go through the rest of your life paying $5.00 or more for a pint of tomato paste, salt, fructose glucose or give this recipe a shot. This makes about 2 or 3 batches. I usually take about 2/3 rds and freeze it right away. Then weeks later you have a batch that is as good as the day you made it. So here are the ingredients that are going to free you from the Salsa Barons. Tools: Sharp knife for slicing vegetables, cuisine art blender thingy Tomatoes: Small ones or 3 medium or two large. LEAVE 1/2 OUT FOR LATER Jalepeno Peppers: One or two. Be careful as these things can be hot if not deseeded. Deseed them if your a wimp but they do add a distinct flavor. You may have some trouble finding these things in Europe. I looked and looked when I was over there but never did find them. Cilantro: 1 cup This is a must have item. Its what makes your salsa different from the store bought Lime: 1 I use the whole lime as I like things a bit tangy Garlic: 1 Clove I add the whole thing or most of it. I love garlic and I hate werewolves. Olive Oil: 2 tablespoons Salt: about a tablespoon or maybe a bit more to taste. Your taste buds love salt be careful not to go overboard the first time though. I have done that and makes it hard to eat the batch. Chipotle Peppers: You can often find these puppies in the Mexican food section of your local food store. If you cant get Jalapenoes you are likely to have trouble finding these. There are flavored bottles of this stuff ...

Wheel hub cleaning set

The ATE wheel hub cleaning set 1 for standard wheel hubs allows you to clean the wheel hub quickly, safely and at low cost, before the brake disks are fitted. The mounting face for the brake disks on the wheel hub must be bright before the disk is mounted to ensure that ít lies fully flush. Only then can it be guaranteed that the installation tolerances of the brake disks can be adhered to. The cleaning process does not normally take more than 10 seconds per hub. The hole in the cleaning disk provides firm guidance and ensures that the disk does not slip off the hub. The fact that the entire surface of the disk is used ensures a lifetime of approx. 400 cleaning operations. Scope of supply: - 1 holder - 3 disks

Replacing Drum Brake Shoes Part 1

Well here it is as promised, the full length version of the replacement of brake shoes. It seems my viewers have an interest in 2 things in particular, brakes and check engine lights so here are some brakes for you. To tell the truth I don't do too many drum brake jobs these days so I'm a little rusty but the principals here are sound and should get you through a basic drum brake job. A couple of things to note here, I replaced the drums on this particular job but if you have enough "meat" left on the drums you can have them machined for a lot less than replacing them. Also, I didn't get the removal of the drum in this video because of time constraints however you can go to the "Drum Brakes, a Quick Look" video to see how to remove them, here's a link. www.youtube.com Watch the next video www.youtube.com I hope this video was helpful, you can always visit me at EricTheCarGuy.com for some of the latest junk I have for you. ericthecarguy.com Stay dirty ETCG Due to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, it cannot guarantee against unauthorized modifications of this information, or improper use of this information.
