The beautiful city of Brasov has been called "the Prague of Transylvania", due to its wonderful old architecture and splendid setting at the base of Mt. Tampa. These photos were personally taken by me during our trip to Romania in May 2006.

A couple of impressions from my visit to the (c)old and sunny town of Brasov/Kronstadt in Romania in December 2005. This was my first visit to Romania. Travelling from Cluj to Brasov by train was a unique experience. A several hours long ride passing through bare and brown-grey winter landscapes of Transilvania, with the low sun giving it an almost surrealistic feeling. Visiting the old town of Brasov, I had the impression of being transfered back in time for about at least 50 years. This impression was augmented by the faint winter sun, which was touching the weathered colours of the buildings with a special light. Besides the beautiful things I could see over there, I enjoyed very much the good and tasteful romanian soups and many other delicious dishes of the local cuisine.

29th June - 1st July 2011 We stayed at the Hotel Postavarul in Brasov. We did another guided walk, saw a great opera concert in a museum near the central square, had some excellent meals and climbed up to the citadel. We also did side trips to Bran Castle ("Dracula's Castle") and Rasnov Fortress, but we took so much film those will be separate videos. Despite his 34 years Ovi is now entering for the most important part of his musical life. Early 2009 he will be ready for the release of his album "This Gig Almost Got Me Killed", a solid result of hard work with help andinfluencefrom experiencedprofessionals from the music business. Still, this is not all new for Ovi. Ovi's talent was noticed while he was just a kid. He proclaims that he at early age realized that music sounded "different" in his ears, and no doubt about it. In his early years he listened actively to music and he actually discovered his voice "by accident" while imitating everybody from "We Are The World". Ovi was born in the north of Romania, in a town named Botosani, the last years ofcommunism. The access to western music at the time was limited if notimpossibleto get hold of, so most of his first musical influences was gained through summer camp and music schools. When he was only 14 years old Ovi earned his first prize in a national singing contest called "Florile Dragostei" leaded by the prestigious romanian composer Horia Moculescu and that was probably all he needed to be sure that it was a musician he was meantto be. The following years, he spent playing in different bands. First with his father and then with his former music teacher. In the early 90's Ovi was old enough and able to record a demo with a friend, and together they went out to chase the big dream - first stop was Germany. Unfortunately the tour didn't give them the dream start they <b>...</b>

Suntem increzatori ca o sa putem aduna cat mai multe vizionari la clipul pe care l-am realizat. Am reusit sa adunam 5000 de vizionari in mai putin de 3 zile, fara nici o promovare din partea vreunei agentii media si suntem incantati sa vedem ca oamenii apreciaza munca depusa.
