I love Vito Bratta one of my favorite guitar players. I love his solos no doubt, but what I really love are his rhythms. He basically plays everything in the higher regions of whatever chord he is on, most arpeggiated. very similar to eddie van halen and i'm sure he was influenced by EVH but i will argue with those that claim vito is a knock off and stole Eddie's style. I believe Vito's took EVH style a step further and even went ahead and put his own signature on it. Even the first time I heard Vito I knew it wasn't eddie but i thought damn, he does a great EVH impression. But once you get to know Vito's style you can tell it is different in many ways. I play alot of Van Halen, early Roth years stuff and I know many of the chords Vito does are different and different inversions as well. Anyway, back to the song WAIT. Wow! What a song. and how about that lead. I use to know all this stuff note for note back in the day. Now i'm having to relearn it all. As for the solo and ending of this song I am still BRUSHING UP on it. so hang in there thanks!

Here is another rendition of the White Lion song Don't Give Up. I don't know the solo that well but I attempted it anyway. I really love the rhythm of this song and Vito Bratta is one of my favorite players. I always felt like he put style and melody above shredding. Actually, I don't consider Vito a shredder. Maybe that is why he is so tasteful? because he couldn't shred? He exploited his own weakness and came out above the rest! I dunno, there's some stuff on the song LET'S GET CRAZY that is pretty shred. I have an old version of Don't Give Up that I did a while back but I wanted to update because I am still learning bits here and there.
