Grabbed Front Brake in Turn - Buell Lowside Motorcycle Crash

Buell Harley-Davidson M2 Cyclone Motorcycle Review Video
See my Buell at www.hoohoohoblin.com This is a short tour of my 2001 Buell Harley-Davidson Cyclone Motorcycle. This is one of the last tube-framed Buell Harley Davidson Motorcycle, and it is the best of the early Buell, with the best engine, redesigned motor mounts, and a tachometer. The Buell cyclone is the old man's sportbike, comfortable enough to ride all day, and sporty enough to be really fun in the corners. Erik Buell was serious about designing an all-around great motorcycle, and the Buell Cyclone is just that. It is a sporty standard bike built for the real world. Comfortable seat, 5-gallon tank, low-maintenance Evolution Sportster engine, lots of torque, smooth on the freeway, adjustable suspension, low center of gravity, an all-around great American motorcycle. This may be the best motorcycle Harley-Davidson ever sold. I love it. When Harley-Davidson shut Buell down, people were selling the old tube-framed Buells really cheap. This Cyclone was a real bargain. As I write this, people are still giving them away, but I predict that will change soon. It doesn't matter to me. Buell XB series muffler modification
Modifying a stock muffler off a 2003 Buell XB9S. I installed this muffler on my 2004 XB12S when it was finished. It was an exact fit on the bike, no modification had to be done to the bike itself or the chin spoiler. This project turned out better than I could have expected and it sounds awesome on the bike. Definitely a lot cheaper that a $800-$900 custom exhaust. I did this entire project in my garage with the exception of the welding. The only cost I incurred was $5-$6 for a can of temperature rated exhaust spray paint. Check out my other videos for the follow up, I should have it posted shortly. Follow up Vid: www.youtube.com

A few passes on an '04 Buell XB12R Firebolt, showcasing the sound of Micron's Serpent full exhaust system for the Buell XB9/XB12 series of bikes. The first pass is just taking off, revving out the first couple gears. Second pass is oncoming acceleration. Third pass is deceleration, heading away. Fourth pass is just slowly coming up and passing by, then you hear the idle and a small rev at the end.

This is on-board video of the first dry day of my solo trip to the mountains with "Darth Maul", my 2009 Buell 1125R. The video was taken with a GoPro Wide video camera mounted via suction-cup attachment to the tail section. After 36 hours of rain I was happy to get some good riding in!

Kneedragging with new Buell 1125R
I just picked up one of the last Buell 1125Rs in Central Florida. The bikes were over $12000 new, but with Harley pulling the plug on Buell purely because they are a public company and need to show deep cuts to shareholders, I bought mine for right around $7000 OTD! Sad, but my new bike is awesome! This thing handles even better than my Buell XB9S Lightning, and the motor and transmission is light-years ahead. Good riddance Harley, let KTM or someone who understand sport riding and more importantly, HOW TO SELL SPORTBIKES, take Buell back to the top!
