Burn Energy Drink presents kitesurfer Victor Borsuk
We collaborated with Victor Borsuk, top European Kite Surfer and current men's division champion of the Ford Kite Cup 2010, to bring you this kite surfing / high jumping Burn short -- Hungry Kite Surfer; the ultimate mission for a breakfast sandwich. We arranged a professional film crew, a motorboat, and access to the ruins of a WWII naval base off the gulf of Gdansk to shoot the production with Victor, who endured three days of intense action and infected battle wounds to pull this off. We made ourselves at home in the ruins, setting up a Burn in Heads' HQ with a hell of a view. Thanks to heli-camera equipment we got some nice aerial shots of Victor's tricks and the unique ocean setting. Massive thanks to the Burn in Heads team and to Victor Borsuk for his amazing skills and crazy ideas. Last December, Gigi Rüf hosted our film crew at his uncle's mountain retreat to film 'Alive', one of the most ambitious short snowboard films yet made: a backcountry powder sequence filmed entirely at night. The logistics of installing movie-set lighting on the side of a mountain were... challenging. Gigi described it as "the biggest film crew I've ever worked with"...
