Train 215-226 was coupled wrongly, the correct set should be 215-216 & 225-226. As of 02 July 2010, it was the 25th day and were not discovered and rectify.

[EXCLUSIVE TRAIN FAULT] SMRT C651 209-210 - Train fault at Kembangan Station (Eastbound). It happened on 27 April 2010 during evening rush hour. I was on board before reaching the station; the train started making tok...tok...tok sound. Finally it arrived at Kembangan, announcement was made in the train and all passengers have alight. The platform was crowded and announcement was made. Frequency for the next few trains was 1 minute behind. Two trains were necessary to clear off the passengers. The breakdown train was send back to Changi Depot.
