well, i haven't made any drastic changes to the bike. so far, i put a bigger 110cc. performance cylinder head. also i cut off the rear fender for more of a racing look. also, but not important, i bought a new rear cheng shing tire. Enjoy

Spring is here and my bikes annual MOT ( Ministry Of Transport ) safety check is due. After the winter months I now need to refit the battery and start the bike up and check all is ok. Alas she wouldn't start on this attempt, I ended up having to strip down the carburettor and clean out the float chamber which had a sticking float valve, and was generally gummed up. No fuel was getting through to the engine, hence she wouldn't fire up. After it was all sorted everything went back to normal. See the next video "The successful one" to see how I got on, and watch the little Honda fire up into life once more........

June 11, 2008: With 227 in the background, NS SD80MAC's 7213 and 7215 on the front and the 7203 and 7216 on the rear take C90 up hill 1.15% in heavy throttle. The engineer was horn friendly and gave me a few blasts. I really do like the sound of those engines! The beginning scene is the rear engines leaving Maple Street, the wye off of the South Fork secondary onto the mainline. (7215 is currently in Horsehead paint, back in summer 2008 it still wore Conrail Livery).

This was a flight to Norwood, MA in a King Air C90 to pick up a passenger. Cruise altitude was 17000 and the trip took a little under 1 hour.

It's August, it's hot and my 1977 classic Honda C90 was dying to go out for a quick summer blast and blow away a few of those old cobwebs... Unfortunately the speedo stopped working for reasons unknown at this time, however later on once I'd returned home i investigated the matter. I found the driving dogs were bent out of shape inside the front wheel hub. I dare say a previous owner had misaligned the drive dogs when refitting the front wheel at some point in its past life. I bent them back into shape, re-greased them up, then reassembled the front hub and wheel assembly. The speedo now works perfectly once more.

Honda 90 fans - What you are looking at is my 32 year old un-restored Honda C90. The only new parts so far as Im aware are, exhaust, battery, flasher relay unit, tyres and air filter / cleaner, otherwise what you see is totally original including the paint work. It's not show case and it has slight rust dotted here and there, but you'll agree it doesn't look bad for an old girl. So I present my pride and joy for you to enjoy too.

This is a short portion of our ride along Highway 550, the "Million Dollar Highway" in Colorado in May of 2010. It is a road that takes much concentration on a motorcycle. There is no forgiveness if you take a shoulder - it's a long way down. My camera is firmly mounted on a gpscity.ca camera mount that requires no further action after the shutter push. The motorcycle in front of me is a 2004 Yamaha Midnite Venture ridden by my friend. Our other buddy is behind me on a Yamaha Roadstar. Watch out for fallen rocks at 1:42. We put 8000 miles on our bikes during this trip that took us to the California Coast Highway up to Vancouver and back to Ontario. The only problems encountered in all that way were a bird strike that took out a windshield lower on the bike in front of me; I lost a windshield nut and the Yamaha behind shook off a highway pedal. We did an oil / filter change in Vancouver on the motel lot. Very reliable bikes.

This is my 2007 Suzuki Boulevard C90T. I installed a set of Cobra "Longs." I wasn't too sure how loud they would be. They are definitely louder than stock - but they are not obnoxious. I left the baffles in and there is a nice, really deep rumble. They were extremely easy to install. I would recommend using new flange seals as they are just thin copper. For a long trip I would also recommend using ear plugs, but I use them anyway-Cobras or not. Yes the tank halves are chrome as are the side covers and neck covers. All parts are stock with chrome - not the abs stuff that is usually sold. I have extra front and rear fenders that are chrome now -see my other vids. Have ridden coast to coast this year and have NO bluing on the pipes - no power commander or high flo air cleaner either. Too far into diminishing returns to spend the money on them.

Here's my 2007 Suzuki C90T. I bought fenders, tank halves,and side covers on Ebay and chromed them. I kept the originals and stored them safely. It looks better without the bags but I use the bike so I need the carrying capacity. Both rear fenders have wiring harnesses that just plug into the bike so I can go back to the all-stock in about 45 minutes. Just 4 bolts for the front and 4 bolts for the back fenders.
