*EASY* Cake Pops Recipe - How to Make Cake Pops the Easy Way

How to make easy cake pops. Make cake pops the easy way with doughnut holes. Cake pops have become the biggest dessert craze, ever since a blogger named Bakerella gave this treat a memorable name. The rest is history. Starbucks has them and they are just about everywhere you can get desserts or baked goods. Making cake pops can be a bit time-consuming but I have a great short cut for you. After making cake pops the longer way, I experimented with just using doughnut holes (Dunkin Donuts or Entenmann's will both do just fine). This way of making them lets you spend all of your time on the fun part. Decorating them! Here is my video of how to do cake pops the easy way along with a few secret tips. Below the video are the recipe details. Ingredients 1 box of 25 doughnut holes (any flavor) 1 (14 oz) bag candy melts, of your choice 1/2 teaspoon shortening Popsicle sticks A flat piece of Styrofoam When ready to assemble heat candy melts in a small bowl in the microwave according to the directions on package. Mix in the shortening until you have a smooth texture that runs off a spoon. Dip the tip of a Popsicle stick into the melted candy . . . Then halfway into the doughnut hole. Lay them down on a wax paper coated cookie sheet until all the balls have the sticks attached. Place them in the refrigerator of the freezer for a minute or two so that the candy sets on the stick. Then remove them and swirl the pops gently into the melted candy and coat well. Allow them to drip for a ...

Cake pops - quick recipe

If you have some leftover sponge cake, you can make the cake pops, original treats that will make any kid happy! Find this and many more recipes with pictures on the Giallozafferano App (in English) itunes.apple.com *** I have some leftover sponge cake, so I'm going to make the cake pops, original treats that will make any kid happy! Begin by crumbling the sponge cake with your hands. To prepare this recipe, besides sponge cake, you can use a plain bundt cake, a paradise cake, a margherita cake, a chocolate cake, or why not, since it's Christmas time, even pandoro or panettone, you can find all these recipes on yellowsaffron. Now it's time to add the jam. I am using peach jam, but you can choose any jam you like. Add... 4 tablespoons... and blend with your hands. Of course, according to the moisture of the cake, decide whether to add more or less jam. Ok, the dough is ready. Take a tray lined with parchment paper... and roll it into small balls... about this size. Here we are, I made 30 cake balls... now keep them in the freezer for at least half an hour. Melt the dark and white chocolate in the microwave, now take the cake balls, which have been resting in the freezer... and start decorating. Insert a lollipop stick into each cake ball... and coat with melted chocolate. Then cover with coloured sprinkles. Allow them to dry by sticking into a foam block... and continue in this way: dip in white chocolate, this time... roll to coat well... and garnish with coloured ...

Cake Pops

Cake Pops A versatile dessert recipe that you can tailor to whatever season or occasion you wish. Great for holidays, baby or wedding showers, etc. Super easy! 1 box cake mix (18.25 ounces) of your choice, baked according to package directions, in a 9 x 13" baking pan 1 carton (16 ounces) of frosting of your choice Bark coating or candy melting chocolates, your choice of white, chocolate, or maybe the colored candy pieces that you find in the cake decorating part of your craft store Sprinkles of your choice Lollipop sticks Some Styrofoam or a cake pop stand After baking cake according to package directions, crumble and add the frosting. Mix thoroughly. I used my stand mixer, but it can be done with a hand mixer or by hand Form mixture into 1-1-1/2" balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper or parchment paper Place in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to become cool. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or the microwave Place the end of the lollipop stick in the chocolate and then into the cake pop. Roll the cake pop in the chocolate to coat and then use the sprinkles of your choice, while the cake pop is still not hard so that they will adhere. Stand the cake pop into the Styrofoam or cake pop stand to harden. Refrigerate. If you desire, you can make the cake into cake balls by dipping them in the chocolate with a fork and them using the sprinkles and placing directly on wax paper to harden. twitter.com www.facebook.com

Note: If you are looking for suggestions for recipes for your Super Bowl party, please visit YouTube's Ad Blitz channel: www.youtube.com Click on "Party Recipes." You will find several recipes from bettyskitchen in YouTube's AdBlitz. Thanks for visiting! --Betty  In this video, Betty returns to YouTube after a 3-week break and demonstrates how to make Chocolate Cake Pops. This is a sweet treat that is fun and easy to make. You might use these for a shower or other party, such as a Super Bowl party! Ingredients (for about 40 cake pops using two decorations): 1 regular 18.25 oz. chocolate cake mix (I used a premium cake mix, and it was moist enough that I did not need any of the frosting listed in the ingredient list below.) ½ to 1 whole 16 oz. can chocolate frosting 11 oz. package white chocolate chips multicolored candy sprinkles (decors), as needed 11 oz. package butterscotch chips finely chopped pecans, as needed (I placed chopped pecans in a kitchen chopper to get them finely chopped.) Make the chocolate cake according to package directions. (I used a 13-inch by 9-inch by 2-inch Pyrex baking dish for baking.) Cool to room temperature. You may speed the cooling process by refrigerating the cake after cooling for 10 minutes on a wire rack at room temperature. Use a mixer or food processor to crumble the cake into cake crumbs. Check to see if you can roll the crumbs into a round ball that holds its shape. If this is not possible, add chocolate frosting until you are ...

Halloween Cake Pops: not-so-scary mummies

I have three more Halloween cake pop videos after this one. The beginning of the videos will be the same (how to crumble the cake and mix the frosting in). I made four separate videos but made them all at once on one day. The video would have been way too long to put all four cake pops in one video. Thanks for watching and commenting. :) Found this idea in Bakerella's cake pop book. Music by Jason Shaw (You Tube's Audionautix) Standard Cake Pop How To: Bake a cake. Let cool completely. Crumble cake into a bowl and add some frosting, enough to make the crumbs stick together. Mix frosting and crumbs until you get a modeling clay/ play doh consistency. Mold mixture into cake pop shapes and chill thoroughly 1-2 hours in refrigerator or 15 minutes in freezer (you want cold but not frozen) Dip sucker sticks into candy melting wafers or melted chocolate and stick dipped end into cake pop. Chill again for 30 minutes in fridge 5-10 in freezer. Dip entire cake pop into melted chocolate/melting waters until covered. Remove allow excess to drip off. Decorate with candy as desired. Place on a waxed paper covered cookie sheet or plate or stick into a block of Styrofoam or cardboard box. Allow to harden at room temperature or in the refrigerator. These can be stored at room temperature for a couple of days, but any longer than that I would put them in the fridge. One standard (two layer) cake mix will make about 24-36 cake pops depending on the size. Use approx. 3/4 of a standard ...

Red Velvet Christmas Truffles (cake pops without the stick)

I wasn't going to post this one as it is basically a cake pop without the stick, and I've already shown you how to make cake pops many times, but the spice cake mix and the colour inside of them make them look very "Christmas-y" These are nice when included in a cookie platter. I gave a box of treats to Max's teacher that included: Red velvet Christmas Truffles, Nutella Bourbon Chocolate Truffles and some peanut butter balls. I put them in a treat box lined with red tissue paper and sealed the box with a pretty Christmas sticky label. I will post the other videos as video responses to this one if you are interested. Tomorrow I will upload a overnight caramel oven baked French toast that you may want to prepare for Christmas morning. 1 box German Chocolate cake mix ( I used a spice cake mix and it was really good with this) It needs to be a light coloured cake otherwise the colour red won't show well. 1 bottle ( 1 oz) 30 ml liquid red food colour 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa 1 cup cream cheese frosting (or any other frosting you want to use) Candy melting wafers or white chocolate Sprinkles, red/green sugar for decorations Prepare cake according to package directions but adding the cocoa and the food colouring and mixing before pouring into cake pan(s). Bake according to package directions and allow cake to cool completely. Crumble cake into a large bowl add the icing and stir until mixture is thick and resembles modeling clay.
