Wings brought a few guns, I brought a few guns, and Russia filled up his truck with enough guns take out an army of zombies. It was a good day. BTW, I should note that there is nobody on the other side of the lake. This place is in the middle of nowhere, it's all safe.

Turns out the Calico did not like some of the ammo. The Federal 22 ammo I used was some pretty low end (way less than $10 per brick). After I tried it in the Calico I remembered why I had it lying around. Turns out none of my 22 autoloading guns will run this stuff. Some editing was done to keep it under 10 minutes and clearing jams. All in all the Calico shoots great as long as you use High Velocity ammo.

California travel expert Veronica Hill of www.CaliforniaTravelExpert.com tours Calico Ghost Town in this episode of "California Travel Tips." Many of these abandoned mining communities, which thrived during the late 1800s, are now popular tourist attractions. Located 10 miles north of Barstow, Calico Ghost Town in Yermo was named for the rainbow-colored hills that produced one of the richest silver strikes in California history. This was a wild and wooly place with 22 saloons, its own red light district and several fine restaurants. The Calico Hotel, run by Mrs. EL Hazen, promised a generous welcome, first-class meals, and reasonable rates. (The original hotel is no longer standing) By 1887, there were 1200 people living in Calico. Children of local merchants and miners attended the one-room Calico School, which sometimes doubled for church service on Sundays. Back in 1885, school teachers made about $80-$100 a month and children played games like marbles, ball and bean bag toss. Plan on a full day to explore this historic ghost town. You can relax on a rocking chair, play a game of checkers on the porch, or enjoy some good-old fashioned gold panning. Around lunchtime, grab a cool Sarsparilla and lunch plate at the Calico House Restaurant, then tour the bath house, where you'll find antique tubs, a laundry press and old west kitchen. The Blacksmith shop is home to several antique tools and equipment. Along the East Calico Hiking Trail, you'll find unique cabins carved <b>...</b>

The Ballad of Calico was the eighth studio album by Kenny Rogers and the First Edition in 1972. The album is a country-rock concept album about the real-life town of Calico, California. The entire double album was written by Michael Murphey and Larry Cansler and the songs tell the stories of individuals who lived in the town. It has never been released in digital form and these cuts were taken from a vinyl LP. Kenny signed a solo deal to United Artists in 1975. I have the album in 6 different vids.

Trio of adorable talented girls and America's Got Talent season 6 finalists, Avery and The Calico Hearts (Avery Winter, 9, Brooklyn Elbert, 10, and Kassidy King, 10) from Lubbock, Texas perform on The Maury Povich show on January 19, 2012, the episode titled "Maury's Mini Idols". This episode featured an aray of talented young kids competing for the title of Maury's Mini Idol 2012. This is a talented kids show that happens on Maury every year. The girls sing a cover of Taio Cruz's smash hit "Dynamite". Aside from making it to the Quarter Finals and Wild Card Selection rounds of America's Got Talent Season 6 in the summer of 2011, the girls have had local gigs and performed at The Cactus Theater (their 2nd home). They are all students of Terri Caldwell Music and have been singing and performing together as a group for five years, and were previously named The Cactus Itty Bittys (with former members Cady Grace Wynn and Katie Rogers). The girls are under the direction of Cami Caldwell. We are so proud of you girls and all your success!!! Great things to come from this dynamite group in the future!
