The deities of ancient Israel bear considerable resemblance to the deities of its neighbours, particularly to the gods of the Canaanites: El, Asherah, Anat, and Baal. However, Yahwism ultimately supplanted Canaanite polytheism, in a process that Mark S. Smith has depicted as convergence and differentiation. The J source assigns the name Yahweh, which is supposedly first revealed to Moses during the "burning bush" encounter on Mount Sinai (P source in Exodus 6:2-4). However, the J source has the first humans addressing the deity as Yahweh in Genesis 4:26. en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org virtualreligion.net ancienthistory.about.com en.wikipedia.org Stephen A. Hanan Munayyer, explains the origins of proto-Palestinian attire from the Canaanite period circa 1500 BC when Egyptian paintings depicted Canaanites wearing A-shaped garments. The distinctive silhouette is observed in a 1200 BC ivory engraving from Megiddo, Palestine, identified as a Syrian tunic. (1) the beauty of the long-sleeved, floor-length Palestinian thob, or womans gown, has attracted travellers' eyes for more than a century. when the pre-raphaelite painter holman hunt sought authenic color for his pantings in the holy land in 1855 he bought several embroidered dresses, which can now be seen in the royal ontario in can(2) ___________________________ (1)Sovereign Threads By Pat McDonnell Twair Reprint from the/The Middle East-London, UK, October 2006 (2)Review: Palestinian Art Inea Bushnaq Reviewed work(s): Palestinian Costume. by Shelagh Weir Palestinian Costume. by Jehan Rajab Journal of Palestine Studies, Vol. 20, No. 3 (Spring, 1991), pp. 121-123 (review consists of 3 pages) Published by: University of California Press on behalf of the Institute for Palestine Studies Stable URL: www.jstor.org (3)Palestinian costume, by shelagh weir london: british museum publications, 1989 288 pages. illustrations and map. npcloth. Discovery of ancient unknown script -- Caucasian Albanian A devastating fire in 1971 at St. Catherine's Monastery on Mt. Sinai led to the discovery of 1100 manuscripts that had been kept in a crypt below the chapel floor but which had been totally forgotten until they were accidentally discovered during reconstruction of the chapel in 1975.[4][5] The most significant discovery was a palimpsest manuscript which had Georgian script on the visible layer but an unknown script, which was barely visible on the underlying layer and which turned out to be an ancient Caucasian Albanian text. In 1990, Dr. Zaza Aleksidze, Director of the Center for Manuscripts in Tbilisi, Georgia, discovered the unknown script. In 1996, he identified it as Caucasian Albanian, a script which has 52 letters based on Georgian, Ethiopian, and Armenian alphabets. The script described a language in the Caucasus that was the ancestor to the language spoken by the present-day Udis, who live in three villages in Azerbaijan and Georgia.[6] In 2001, Aleksidze was able to decipher his first word -- "Thesalonike," referring to passages in the New Testament that St. Paul addressed to the Thessalonians.[7] and he later identified the text of some 300 pages as one of the earliest existing Lectionaries in the Christian religion (5th--6th centuries).[8] Kings 10:29 "Howbeit [from] the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, Jehu departed not from after them, to wit, the golden calves that were in <b>...</b>

Judges 1 Israel Fights the Remaining Canaanites 1 After the death of Joshua, the Israelites asked the LORD, "Who will be the first to go up and fight for us against the Canaanites?" 2 The LORD answered, "Judah is to go; I have given the land into their hands." 3 Then the men of Judah said to the Simeonites their brothers, "Come up with us into the territory allotted to us, to fight against the Canaanites. We in turn will go with you into yours." So the Simeonites went with them. 4 When Judah attacked, the LORD gave the Canaanites and Perizzites into their hands and they struck down ten thousand men at Bezek. 5 It was there that they found Adoni-Bezek and fought against him, putting to rout the Canaanites and Perizzites. 6 Adoni-Bezek fled, but they chased him and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and big toes. 7 Then Adoni-Bezek said, "Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off have picked up scraps under my table. Now God has paid me back for what I did to them." They brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there. 8 The men of Judah attacked Jerusalem also and took it. They put the city to the sword and set it on fire. 9 After that, the men of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites living in the hill country, the Negev and the western foothills. 10 They advanced against the Canaanites living in Hebron (formerly called Kiriath Arba) and defeated Sheshai, Ahiman and Talmai. 11 From there they advanced against the people living in Debir (formerly called <b>...</b>

An old farmer tells the Saints who the AntiChrist really is. The same Canaanites who fought True Israel for a thousand years before the Canaanites were defeated in Idumea in 125 BC and forced to "join" the Israelite religion. They are called jews today and are the seed line of Cain, the son of Satan. jews haven't written a single book of the bible and never had a first Temple in the first place.
